We bought this home because we fell in love with Ketchum. This is not just a rental but a place for our family to enjoy. We hope you will enjoy it as well.
Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We had, by far, the most incredible vacation as a family. From the moment we arrived, we had a blast. Your home is lovely and gave us the perfect location to explore with our children and dogs. The trail proximity was fantastic! We were all so sad to leave as Sun Valley has become a truly special place for us. We are so excited to return next year and will certainly be in touch. Thank you again for making our trip so wonderful!
We (family of 4 -2 kids age 9 &7 & 2 adults mid 40s) can't say enough about this house -It was more than enough space for us - could have handled 8 - 4 kids & 4 adults easily. It had a contemporary mountain/modern feel w/out going over the top - this house was perfectly located for a weekend escape to all Sun Valley & Ketchum have to offer (town access for Java on 4th & mountain trails access) without hearing any traffic noise.
To start, the fall colors of the aspen lined driveway lead you up to a spacious garage filled with weekend toys (tennis rackets/cruiser bikes). We brought our own mtn bikes, but tennis courts were just at the end of the street! There is a tree-sheltered porch off the kitchen overlooking the property that was repeatedly used for morning coffee & cocktail hour. The bedroom/bathroom accommodations were pristine. For kids: the bunk room could sleep 4 kiddos (but 2 kids each having top bunk dibs was even more of a plus! with bathroom adjacent. We stayed in the master bedroom downstairs -very quiet & with private door access to the hot tub it was a dream!
Living room was restorative with big chairs & a cozy couch to collapse in after a day hiking Chocolate Gulch & biking home from Main St Restaurants! LR has gas fired option to make that perfect fire (with wood) if you're not the most skilled in pyrotechnics. Nice sound system too.
Highly recommend, we would stay here again. Owners very easy to work with & were attentive.
Clean, comfortable house. Stayed for two weeks with our two toddlers and two labradors. Owner installed a baby gate at the stairs before we arrived when she realized we had small children. Hemingway Elem is just a block away and our kids loved the playground there. House is set back from the road which offered more privacy and allowed kids extra room to play. River access is close for dogs and kids. House location made it easy to avoid town traffic on way to Galena Lodge, Redfish Lake, Stanley, etc. Concierge was very responsive and helpful. It was warmer than usual during our visit so the concierge delivered extra fans. She even popped over with a propane tank from her house when ours ran out at dinner time. Highly recommend, we would stay there again.
This past weekend we were fortunate enough to stay here, and it could not have been better. Classy, upscale, close to town (we walked to town in 15 degree temp's and it took just 5 minutes). This place has heated floors, surround sound, dimmed lighting!
Ping pong table in the garage, hot tub. washer/dryer.
Main master downstairs and upstairs. Main living room has a separate bathroom, and a bedroom that has 4 large bunk beds. I would stay here again without a doubt, in fact, I will attempt to reserve this place on a semi annual basis.
The owners are very down to earth people. there is nothing negative to say.
All very good things.
We had the best time! The house is a wonderful retreat with all the best family feeling. Perfect for a quiet retreat from the cares of the world.
We met up with my son and his family , including the new dog!
The accommodations were perfect and we had the best time exploring the Rails to Trails and heading up to RedFish Lake.
We will be planning on visiting again as soon as we can.
This place was exactly what we needed for the weekend. We had 8 adults and the layout was perfect for our group. Its within walking distance to downtown and isolated enough that you can have a good time and not worry about being bothered. Plenty of parking and the hot tub was a nice touch. Can't wait to stay there again. They even shipped some items we left behind back to us, pretty darn good service. The only issue I have is that its been a few weeks and my deposit hasn't been returned.
My family and I loved this home. It is large and spacious and tastefully furnished. Split floor plan on three levels works great for kids/ privacy. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes, etc. Also a small deck/grill off the great room. Nice secluded driveway area for kids to play outside home.
The home is situated in a quiet location near river and restaurants. The park and pump park also nearby. Would love to return to this home next vacation to Ketchum.
