This is a beautiful retreat with things to do for everyone! If you want to spend your time in the mountains, there is 9 acres of beautiful nature with babbling creek and wild flowers. You can fish steps away from your porch on the noisy Fightingtown Creek. You can spend sunny days in the in-ground pool. You can read book in the hammock or swings right next to the water. Or watch butterflies dance from the rocking chairs on your porch. Or play cards in the sun room. Just hiking around the property is a pleasure any time of the year. There are also books of all sorts, movies to watch and board games to play! We have toys for kids of every age, just tell us how old are your kids and we will help you to keep them busy! Mention that there is a baby, you will have high chair, play mat and other items suitable for your little one.

This is a large cabin and we welcome you to come with your family only or take grandparents or friends. Our beautiful retreat is only 4 miles from downtown Blue Ridge and 6 miles from the Blue Ridge Lake. It's a very short proximity from all the activities the area has to offer: tubing, water rafting, horse riding, bicycle trails, fishing, State Parks and so much more. We will provide you with booklet of directions to all these nice places.

Yulia, Thank you so much for having us at your cabin (again)! We still can't decide which one is better the "blue" or the "green". After stating in the "green" cabin in october 2007, we never thought there could be better one. That one has things we loved about it, such as all 6 bedrooms are huge, and everyone having their own bathroom was really nice. The wrap around deck, and hot tub area is beautiful and made for relaxing. Then in August 2008, we stayed in the "blue" cabin. This cabin is amazing. This cabin is more isolated then the other, which we really liked. It was really great having 2 kitchens, it made it easier to cook for a medium sized group. The pool was the highlight of this cabin. Everyday around noon the sun was directly over the pool and that made the water perfect for playing on the rafts and noodles that were there for us. Knowing that we will visit again, we left some of our rafts there for next time as well! We had a problem with a few people getting ticks on them from the fire pit area, so we could only light a fire one night. I also loved the decorations. the pictures on the website are only a small representation of the decor. The place is beautifully decorated and is well kept. My only suggestion to other guests is to bring beach towels, and lots of sunscreen. Thanks again for having us. We are already starting to plan our next stay!

We stayed in this cabin 8/27 - 9/3...loved it so much. It was so relaxing we did not want to leave-the week flew by so fast that next year we are thinking of 2 weeks here:) The tv's were a nice touch for my husband who loves sports-so he did not have to miss a game. My dog loved the outdoors-he was so curious about everything and he did not want to go back to his little yard back home!! Thank you so much for such a relaxing vacation-hope to be back next year.

I stayed in this spacious vacation home with 15 other adults and 5 kids. Even with the number of people we had, never did we feel cramp for space. This home has great ammenities inside and out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good privacy in a mountain cabin retreat.

I stayed at the cabin with 17 other adults during our annual retreat. This cabin is spacious, comfortable, and very accommodating.

It definitely met all of our needs.

I'll be checking to see if this property is available when we begin to plan our retreat for 2007!
