Stillwell Point offers guests a sky high, heart stopping view of Little River's rocky coastal cliffs, islands, and sea arches. This unique glass and stone hideaway sits perched on the very edge of a steep sheer drop . . . hundreds of feet above Buckhorn Cove. This is the soaring domain of the osprey and the hawk . . . in which you can share.
Even indoors, you are surrounded by sky, sea, and sunshine . . . thanks to Stillwell Point's wraparound view windows and sliding glass doors which lead to a pair of patios on the cliff's edge.
If the weather turns wet or wintery . . . and, you literally find Stillwell Point wrapped in the midst of clouds . . . there's a huge stone fireplace just waiting to keep you warm and dry, a million miles away from the worries of your everyday world.
Our home was built into the hidden hillside, incorporating natural materials that were washed up on shore such as huge wood pilings, driftwood, shells, starfish, local river stones, old glass buoys, and ancient ship anchors which add to the charm. Native plants and wild flowers blanket the cliff which overlooks the sea below.

We had a wonderful time at Stillwell Point! I had no idea how secluded and intimate a location it was. There can't be many locations like it on the Mendo coast. We loved it!
We were lucky enough to experience both sunny and beautiful days as well as windy and stormy days as well. We loved both equally.
