My husband and I chose to build our vacation home here - because it is so peaceful and the energy is so calming and relaxing there. We love all the different seasons of the year here.
Something special for everyone.
This place was absolutely amazing and so close to Ski Liberty. I plan on going again with my children and grandchildren.
Traveled here with four other couples from work. Everyone had their own bedroom with a queen or king sized bed. There is tons of room inside the lodge for lounging - chairs, recliners, sofas everywhere. The open floor plan on the main level is great. The surrounding property is heavily wooded and secluded and very scenic, with a walking trail encircling it. The yard and porches are great for hanging out and we spent a lot of time throwing footballs around and building fires in the huge fire pit. The driving in the area is gorgeous, as there are beautiful orchards and quaint small towns in any direction. The owners were very user friendly and easy to work with. Overall, it was an extremely relaxing and worthwhile trip.
My wife and a few couples rented this wonderful place for a weekend at Gettysburg. The lodge was beyond our imagination! The pictures listed do not do this place justice. Very clean and well kept! I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are looking for privacy! Would stay again in a heartbeat!
We stayed here for two nights as part of a visit to Gettysburg, and we wished we had stayed longer. The space is so comfortable and pleasant! The kitchen was very well outfitted with appliances and utensils. There was plenty to do with a pool table and games and a fire pit outside. We enthusiastically recommend this property and would love to stay here again.
My husband, 2 year-old son, and I came here for our family's annual reunion. There were 3 other couples and 3 young toddlers. My sister was the one that made the reservations talked to the home owners. She had a great experience with them.
The location + house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had more than enough space to lounge and entertain. The interior had high ceilings and was so spacious I never felt like we were crowded. I was so happy with the open floor plan living/dining area with an amazing kitchen to cook in. The screened in wrap around porch was one of the best things about the property - there were lounge chair hammocks where I can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while most of my family were still sleeping and all was quiet! My husband and I took our son for a walk around the woods and though it was a past berry picking season, we found tons of blackberry bushes along the path and had a couple of handfuls to take home. Our last night, we built a bonfire in the backyard fire pit and ate s'mores - it was a lot of fun for everyone, especially the kids.
This was the perfect weekend reunion for our family and I would definitely recommend it!
Great place to stay. There were four couples and 3 toddlers in all that stayed. They had big screen TVs everywhere, DVDs for kids and adults, lots of channels, an awesome grille, and old school video games (we played tetris and mortal combat on the NIN 64). I highly recommend it and the landlords were very helpful and responsive to all issues. Also, fire place in back to do up some smores
