Swimming in public pool during the summer about 15 minutes from Casita. Sking and boating at the several lakes is about 20 minutes. Visit the wonderful towns of Prescott (1 1/4 hour), Jerome (2 hrs), Sedona (11/2 hrs), Flagstaff (21/2 hrs). Any of those a great day trip. Even the Grand Canyon, you are on the right side of Phoenix for all a visits to great places in Arizona.
