The master bedroom is also on the first floor, as is the oversized bathroom that features a large, two person antique tub with shower.
Neighborhood amenities include tennis courts (available from the Kennebec Point Association for a small fee) and clamming in the tidal bay (available from the town hall for a very small license fee). Reid State Park, Five Islands, boat rentals, and the best lobsters in Maine are within a few minutes drive.
The cottage is fully furnished, with two queen beds, one double, a queen sleep sofa, a daybed, and two roll-away cots.
Freeport, the home of LL Bean (open 24 x 7), is about 45 minutes to the south, Boothbay Harbor about the same distance to the north. Portland (and the airport) is about an hour to the south.
