I bought the place in 2002. A fire destroyed the original house. The new house was built in 2011. Basically I purchased the place because I got tired of sleeping in campgrounds when I came up to fish during salmon season. In the winter it gets very cold. Waking up cold in a campground lost its appeal!.
I miss the old place and now that I have the new place I want to share it with others.
I enjoy the peace, friendly neighbors; clear nights and just cooking outside while entertaining family and friends. The fishing season can be great.
I needed a clean quiet environment to write and find peace, and I found it here. The cabin was clean and neat; very easy to locate household products commonly used. The decks were perfect locations to give me different serene views. No city noise, I truly capture great moments of peace in front of the fireplace, and it's warmth indescribable. The cabin had all the amenities I needed which was a surprise compared to other resorts i visited. Flat screens TV's in all the bed rooms with DVD players, my kids will love their rooms. Overall you can't go wrong staying at this cabin, alone or with family which will be my next adventure.
second stay at cabin for annual trip. all good, owner very accommodating. great location and deck! will be back next year.
Rented cabin cabin for fishing trip with two others in group. Great location on River with nearby access to some great runs for swingin/nymphing flies which was most important thing for us. The cabin itself was super comfortable and roomy as well. Great kitchen with just about everything you need for cooking your meals... Will definitely be back!
Do not stay in this house unless you plan to provide your own firewood or want to purchase firewood from a neighbor..? There were rats in the walls that scratched all night... in the walls. There is no internet. Tub in master bedroom does not work. weird phone call from owner late evening... not ideal by any means. oh yeah and take all your trash when you leave, but pay the cleaning fee.
Great place for family getaway. Six of us (including 4 kids) enjoyed the spacious and clean cabin with large deck and BBQ grills. River access is about a half mile walk. Due to the drought, water usage had to be limited especially with the roof water cooling system. This was due to drying well problem, not necessarily the cabin issue per the owner. We plan to come back hopefully when drought is less of a problem. Overall this is a great value, and we are satisfied! !
The place was great! Everything you need and lots of room. Nice deck and the house stays really cool during the heat. My sister and I rented the place together with our families and my parents brought their travel trailer. It was big enough for all of us to have meals together at night and the kids were well entertained. The river is in walking distance which is nice. We will be staying there again next year for sure!
