Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-8)

Brand new beautiful mountain cabin home for retreat, family time or romance, surrounded by nature. Wake up to fresh mountain air and the birds singing. Gaze at the stars at night . The cabin is located approximately 12 miles from Weaverville on Highway 299 and about 57 miles from Redding. The area provides great fishing in the Trinity River, Trinity Lake and Lewiston Lake. The Trinity Alps are a popular rugged hiking area, with many lakes and waterfalls.

Why The Owner chose Junction City

I bought the place in 2002, the house burned down over a year ago. Basically I purchased the place because I got tired of sleeping in campgrounds when I came up to fish during Salmon season. In the winter in gets cold. Waking up cold in a campground lost its appeal!.

I miss the old place and now that I have the new place I want to share it with others.

What makes this cabin unique

I enjoy the peace, friendly neighbors; clear nights and just cooking outside entertaining family and friends. The fishing season can be great.

Wonderful Log Cabin Get Away

Our family spent a very relaxing week in the Junction City Cabin. It's wonderful to arrive after a long drive (with good directions provided by the owner) and find a home that is nestled in a wilderness neighborhood, beautiful, very clean, and well stocked for guests. We fished up and down the Trinity River, swam in some quiet, deep river pools, panned for gold, cooked dinners in the spacious kitchen, enjoyed a trip to the coast and did some hikes looking for Big Foot. The over sized soaking tub in the master suite was Nirvana! We are VRBO veterans and this property is amazing and a bargain. A+ getaway.

My family and I just spent 4 days / 3 nights at this wonderful cabin. Easy to find, short walk down to the river where you can see deer, geese and watch the fish jump. Coffee in the morning on the deck is just so peaceful. The owner was so helpful in helping us to prepare and had everything ready for our arrival. I would totally recommend this rental for a weekend getaway or a week long fishing trip. Can't wait to go back! Thanks Mark!!!!
