We enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Some of our favorite moments. Deer in the yard. Sound of the creek. A trip to the hot tub. Soccer with the kids in the yard. Proximity to Mt. Rainier.
We rented this place as a girls week end get away and Hiking trip. Wow what a great place to stay. To top it off we had a hot tub out on the deck. Very happy with rental. Have known owner for many years, his wood work and hand made furniture in the house are beautiful.
Thank you Paul for a great stay
This cabin is wonderful. We stayed there for four nights to be able to get into the park early. Three (out of four) of us spent one full day at the cabin and had plenty to do. Swimming in the lake, playing in the creek, watching movies (provided), playing board games (provided) and roasting marshmallows. It was comfortable, with central heating (was a little cool in the early morning). We are already talking about going back.
Paul does an amazing job as a host in this awesome location. You can be in Mt Rainier in about 15 minutes and the home has everything you could ever need. My wife and I stayed there with another couple and it was one of our favorite places during our 10 days in the pacific NW. Paul's landscaping is meticulous and is complemented by all the rustic furniture and decor that Paul has made himself. His orientation to the house let us know not only about where to find everything in the house but it also explained the history behind some of the furniture. His recommendations for places to go and things to see were spot on. His home made brownies were a huge hit and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place close to the park at an awesome price.
We enjoyed staying at Stargazer this past weekend, the place is in a great location away from the busy road and close to the entrance to Paradise. We enjoyed the sound of the creek. Paul is a wonderful host who provided everything we need in the cabin. The kitchen is well equipped. Paul made a lot of nice furniture and artistic decoration in the cabin, he really wanted us to have a great Rainier experience as he also gave us lots of advice and tips on our visit. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this beautiful place to our friends & family.
Paul does an amazing job furnishing the Star Gazer. The cabin has everything; perfect location to the Mountains, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms and washer / dryer.
Mt. Rainier vacation is a must, it's bucket list worthy. The trails and hikes on Mt. Rainier are breath taking. Plenty of trails for all levels.
Paul (Owner) also baked a cream cheese pie, nice touch.
Would definitely recommend the Star Gazer!
We couldn't have asked for a better host or place to stay! Paul greeted us when we were there with a pie and stargazers for our 1st anniversary. The place is immaculate with lots of custom wood carved furniture and art, quiet and peaceful. The hottub was warm and ready to go, the bed was comfy and the water was hot!
The kitchen was stocked, there is a new TV and entertainment centre for watching movies, a new BBQ (that looked awesome but we didn't have time to use it), and a firepit. This place could easily hold two or three couples or a family of 4.
Its a great place to get away if you want to be off-line. There is only land-line telephone service, and no cell phone service. This was fine for us because we really needed a break from work :-)
Would love to come up again, and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay near Mt. Rainier!
