Beautiful 3BR, 1BA Lakefront Home

Tastefully Decorated Lakefront Home Located in a Private Bay on Lake Webster. Wonderful for Intimate Getaways or Family Fun. Lake Webster and Backwater Lake combined represent more than 1,000 surface acres. The lake has a max depth up 65 feet and an average depth of 7 feet. Webster Lake is the headwaters of the Tippecanoe River and offers one public access site. Not only is it considered among the Midwest's best Muskie fishing lakes it also offers great fishing for Black Crappie, Blue Gill, Large Mouth Bass, Pumpkinseed, Red Ear and Yellow Perch. we had A great time, fishing was kinda slow but we went on the busiest week of all, the 4th of july, but we still caught crappie, perch, buegill,catfish and bass right from the pier. everyone on the lake was friendly and helpfull theres A grocery near by with great prices and virtually anything you will need can be found within 5 min.
it was great waking up to swans and otters outside your back patio. my grandaughter was just amazed by everything..(she's 2 yrs. old) and having my boat right there was awesome
the only things we wish was different would of been central air instead of window units and the bathroom it had no tub just A standing shower, everything was great don't get me wrong but our grandaughter hates showers she likes her bath time.
we missed the Dixie by a few days it was under repair but they were launching it the day we had to leave which was a bummer, but it would be days before it was ready to accept riders anyway.
on A scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best we rate this home as A 7
central air would of made it A 9 but it had window units that kept it nice in there. and A full bath would of made it A 10.

We rented the 3 bedroom cottage and were very happy with our choice. Having our boat right out the door was a huge plus for us.
Thanks for the tip about eating at Pie Eyed Pete's. The neighbors are friendly and happy to offer fishing tips. If you want to catch bass, use Kelly's Purple worms, available at the tackle store in town.
Overall we had a very nice relaxing week.

I had the pleasure of renting one of the cottages and couldn't be happier.
It was clean and in great shape. Everything we needed was there.
Grill, TV, VCR, and even games for the kids.
We launched our boat just down the road, and docked it right outside our door at the cottages private dock.
Grilling on the deck in the evening was great too.

My family and I had a great weekend and would recommend it to anyone.

A friend and i recently stayed at the 3 bedroom 1 bath lakefront lodge on Webster lake. It was very cozy with all the comforts of home and we had a great time. The lake was only feet from the back door and had privite dock for my boat. Though there was a sudden weather change and was pretty cold we still caught fish...good time to go for crappie. We were there March 24-27 just for the weekend.My friend and I only live a couple of hours away and are planning another trip in the near future with a couple other friends.It's just a great place to go and relax. Just wanted to say thanks to Ray and I hope to see you again soon.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that Jeff and I had a wonderful weekend at this location. Jeff took his boat which he was able to launch from the public access site (which is right down the road) and tie it up right at the property (they have 2 piers). The fishing was great. He caught Bluegills, Crappie and some Perch. He cleaned them right outside and then cooked them right on the grill (which is provided).

The cottage was very clean. They are newly remodeled and very cozy. They have DVD's for all to waatch. They have games for the kids to play, or you can just sit back on the pier and fish or sit on the deck and relax. It was a quite and relaxing weekend - can't wait to do it again.

If you care to eat out, you can always take car or boat to the "Barbee Landing", or other numerous restaurants in the area.

Hope you can take advantage of this great place - we did - and we'll be back.
