Arriving by Boat: Our house is Located on a tidal river less than half a mile from the intercostal waterway. At high tide minimum depth is about 4 - 5 feet. At low tide it can go down to 2,5 to 3 feet in places but generally it is navigable.
The end of our dock has from 4 - 6.5 feet of water.
You are welcome to use the dock for day use, loading and unloading etc., but because we share the dock with another family and since it is primarily used for swimming, boats are not allowed to dock overnight or for long periods during the day. You will have to anchor your boat at your own risk in front of the house when you are not using it. We have a canoe and kayaks available for your use so you can then paddle back to shore from your anchorage.
The nearest marina with boating facilities and a boat ramp is Triton Marina, located just up the road to Elkton.
