Boating, fishing, relaxing lifestyle and spectacular views!
Full service marina, nearby restaurants, boating, fishing, relaxing atmosphere.
The townhouse is conveniently located near Boca Grande. The canal behind the unit connects to the Gasparilla Marina. Boat maneuvering and parking is easy and convenient located behind the townhouse (we were not there during tarpon season). The community pool is directly across the street and easy to access. Very relaxing and refreshing after a day of fishing.
The townhouse is appointed neatly and the decor is fun. The unit width is wide and allows for a large seating cluster in the TV room. The dining table is perfect for meals and cards. The kitchen looks over the dining area and has the appropriate setup for cooking. The appliances and arrangement work great and the counter top bar allows folks to visit while prepping food. The unit is clean and well maintained. The unt has ceiling fans (important to me). This is not my first stay here and hopefully will not be my last. I really like this place!
The home was clean and everything was there ready for our arrival just as if we were in a hotel. We had a boat so it was great and easy to dock there with the advance form the owner sent us. The pool was awesome for our 3 & 9 year old to go out if we weren't ready to go out on the boat yet. Very spacious and within walking distance to two of our favorite restaurants there. My husband and I loved having our morning coffee on the balcony and watching the action at the marina below.
We had a wonderful week with our teenage kids here! The home was more than I expected, even after seeing the pictures. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bedding and overall lots of room! The pool was wonderful for the kids, and they even made a new friend with an alligator in the nearby pond! The house is located in a quiet area and the neighbors were super friendly. We would absolutely stay at this home again!!
My wife and I spent a recent wonderful month at this unit at Angler's Club. Our three kids joined us for a week) For our purposes, this was an ideal location and a beautiful townhouse. This unit was ideal in location based on relative quiet and seclusion while in proximity to restaurants, to excellent fishing, to the Boca Grande beaches, a 16 mile loop bike trail, and relatively close to malls, movie theaters and stores. First the townhouse. Very spacious, wonderful layout, beautifully decorated. Really the owner spared no expense on not only the quality of the unit but the decorations. The only criticism is a tiny one and that is that the master bedroom being opposite a major marina that keeps its lights on all night could have used shades or blinds to make the room darker for sleeping. I like it dark so we improvised with hung blankets. That's it. The "sauna" shower in the master bath was outstanding especially since the weather was a little cooler than normal for part of the trip. My wife and I both used it regularly. Nice heated communal pool right across from the unit. We felt at home during our stay with plenty of room to spread out. Beaches: One of the great things about this location is that you are super close to the causeway to the beaches on Boca Grande ($6 per car, $3 to park on some of the beaches, others $0) and the rent is much lower than out on the island. From the unit we could be all the way to the furthest beach on Boca Grande in about 15 minutes. Great beaches and shell collecting. Some good restaurants within a couple of miles (Mexican, Italian, Seafood, etc) and the Waterside Grill is within walking distance for a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner. I towed my 21' boat from upstate NY to Florida, a 1430 mile one way trip and boy was it was worth it. The boat slip right on the canal included. That's where my boat stayed for the month. Every day that I went out fishing I just walked out of the back of our unit, got in the boat, went a couple hundred yards down the canal, turned left and was out on the intracoastal and the open water of the bay. This area is a fishing epicenter with high quality gamefish. Even though the weather was cooler than normal still able to fish almost every day and caught lots of fish (seatrout, sheepshead, snappers, bonnethead shark, etc). The owner was easy to reach with a couple of minor issues and had the furnace serviced quickly on one occasion . Would I return? Absolutely! A+
The house was perfect for my family. We had plenty of room to relax and stretch out. Pool was very nice and just across the road. it was private and pushed back from the main road. We would stay here again in a heart beat. Owner was very easy to work with.
My family and I just left this location this past Sunday and we miss it so much already! Angler's club is a quaint place to stay. The location is perfect. The fishing and boating was fantastic! We were able to catch tarpon and plenty of other edible fish that we had for dinner on some nights. This particular town home was absolutely gorgeous (even better than the pictures). There was plenty of room for my large family to sleep comfortably. All of the rooms were decorated nicely and had all of the right amenities. I highly recommend this place to people who are looking for a getaway! Hopefully it will be available for us to stay in next year for our annual fishing and boating family vacation!
