Golf: There are 6 Golf courses located within an hours drive of our home.The Canmore Golf Course, the Silvertip and the Stewart Creek courses are all within a 10 minute drive. The Banff Springs course is a 20 minute drive. The Kananaskis Ranch course is a 30 minute drive. The two Kananaskis Country courses are a 40 minute drive.
Cross Country and Alpine Skiing: The Canmore Nordic Centre, home of the Nordic events during the 1988 Winter Olympics is a 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk/ski from our door. Track set trails provide great skiing in winter and excellent mountain biking trails in summer. There are 4 world class alpine ski resorts located within an hours drive of our home. Lake Louise 50 minutes, Sunshine Village 35 minutes, Mt. Norquay 25 minutes, Nakiska 45 minutes.
Guest Book: We are having trouble finding the time to tell our friends the wealth of beauty we saw on this trip. Canmore is truly a place of grandeur. We loved all of our day trips, as well as your beautiful home. Our hats are off to Tom as he is a gifted artist. It was a pleasure spending the week at your home. C. blanck444@aol.com
