The owner moved to Revelstoke to complete the land assembly and processing for the expansion of the municipal ski hill to the great resort it has become, Revelstoke Mountain Resort. After selling the Resort potential to new owners, the owner kept the Revelstoke home for personal family vacations and is now for the first year sharing this spectacular location with those who would value this unique home.
Carol Powadiuk purchased this chalet in 1997
I chose to buy this home for a personal residence and have subsequently decided to provide it to vacation renters as of 2010.

Our group had an incredible stay at RRR. What a fantastic house with huge windows looking over the river. Easy walking distance to everything in town and an added bonus to be a few hundred meters from the aquatic center.
The large home was perfect for our party since the 2 floors of living space is separate enough that when our 18month daughter was sleeping upstairs she could not even hear the others downstairs excitedly swapping stories about the day flying with Eagle Pass Heli...
Kitchen was fully set up for cooking which was nice to feel at home after a quick trip to the grocery store down the street.
The owner is easy to communicate with and made booking very easy. Their staff of friends in the area offered recommendations around town and were available for questions.
The resort was great, Eagle Pass Heli is run by an awesome crew, the town of Revelstoke is full of nice people.
Great place to vacation with family and friends! We can't wait to go back!!!
We loved it here - the spacious living areas, the well equipped kitchen, the floor to ceiling windows for the view of the mountains and river. All this tucked in a quiet street minutes from downtown, the leisure centre and the walking paths. Would recommend to anyone anytime.
I travelled to Revelstoke with a group of men for a ski trip this winter and stayed at this property. It exceed our expectations in every way! Beautiful master bedroom, full size kitchen, and giant main room gave us more than enough space to enjoy ourselves and relax. The vaulted ceilings, open concept and fireplace made for a perfect place to spend the evenings and days off from skiing. The huge windows gave stunning views of the mountains and waterfront. The transaction and arrangements for the accommodation was easy; the owner and caretaker are lovely people and very helpful. This place made our trip!! I highly recommend it.
We were 8 friends travelling to Revelstoke for our first time. Our main goal for the trip was to ride snowboard and ski in great powder AND have a sosial life together.
This town, the mountain and the house fullfilled our expectation. The powder was awesome and gave us all the challenges we were looking for.
The house itself was beautiful with a location you can dream of. The view of the lake from the house and the garden, the nice furnished house with large rooms, well equiped kitchen, restrooms with big LCD-TV, Barbeque area outside, double carport and comfortable bedrooms made the stay easy, funny and social. AND since the house was suited in 3-5 minutes walk to the centre of the city it made it easy to use the fascilities like restaurants, cafeshops, shops, nightlife and 5-10 minutes drive to the mountain resort.... the trip became perfect and fullfilled our expectation.
Thank you to the owner of the house who helped us with travelling tips and recomendations of restaurants.
We highly recomend the area, the mountain, the city and of course the house.

This is a special kind of holiday rental. We were a 55+ couple & 3 young adults in Revelstoke for a week. The initial impact is the truly spacious great room with views to the river and mountains, but on closer inspection it is the personal touches and artwork that is surprising, giving a greater sense of 'home' than typical holiday rentals. The follow up from the owners to ensure all was OK was welcomed, especially with Revy having a very cold and snowy week. The powder at Revelstoke and Kicking Horse did lure us out, but this is a place you could just stay in.
The group agreed that our stay in this house was one of our holiday highlights.
The house itself is a beautiful, spacious home in a wonderful downtown location. The downside is very dangerous stairs without handlrails on one side. We were traveling with elementary age children. Upon arrival, we made stair rules for the children such as taking off socks, walking slowly etc. This did not prevent one of our kids from falling through the opening to the floor below. She was airlifted to Vancouver Children's Hospital and is still slowly recovering at home. To add to the disappointment, the owners would not reimburse us since we had to leave early. They showed no sympathy or remorse for our situation. They never wrote anything about the dangerous stairs in the advertisement for the home. Do not rent this home if you have young children or elderly parents.
