Perfect cabin for our family

From the description and pictures on internet, if you think it looks and sounds good...wait til you get there! Beautiful, comfortable, absolutely everything you can imagine...only better!!! the directions given by the owner were very clear and easy to follow, we had no problem finding the cabin. Our family actually went out there for two main reasons..my wedding and to go 4-wheeling. We ranged in age from 3-45 and everyone had a great time! The scenery simply breathtaking! We were able to get on the ATV and jump on trails nearby or drive down the road further and start there.
Part of the family went down to Bear Country, panning for gold in region south of Deadwood, while others viewed museums, Homestake mine and did lots of driving around outskirts of Lead/Deadwood, exploring.
Roughlock Falls, Spearfish Canyon are areas I would call "can't miss". We were married at Roughlock, and I can't imagine a more beautiful outdoor setting!! Best of all...God and Mother Nature took care of all the decorating!
Our family is already talking about next summer's trip, although I think I wouldn't mind seeing it in the Winter and enjoying some snowmobiling and coming home to a cozy fire.
I have told many people about Cabin on the Ridge and will always suggest it to someone looking for an incredible place to spend time with loved ones. We had eight people in our group and never felt crowded, didn't have to wait for bathrooms and the kitchen was large enough we all sat at the table together for meals.
This truly was a trip for memories and COR was the best place for us to call "home".
