This newly built cottage is located in between the untouched nature, directly at Ponhook Lake, and is successfully suitable for unique weeks in vacation. The overwhelming view from the large sundeck and from inside the house over the Lake straight to the nature is magnificent. The favoured position of the large property has made possible a 100% south alignment of the house. You have pure nature but within a few minutes by car you reach the coast of the Atlantic Ocean with its picturesque and colourful port towns, good shopping facilities and magnificent white and quite beaches. A private road leads directly to the house. Ponhook Lake with lots of romantic islands and a length of approximately 36 km offers the opportunity to take a bath, to canoeing, for fishing and to relax. In the summer the temperature of the lake is between 20 and 25 degrees.

(Aufenthalt bis zum 05. Oktober 2006): „...die Traumbilder vom Ponhook Lake bleiben im Gedächtnis! Wir fanden dort wahrlich ein kleines Stück vom Paradies. Besonders schön ist natürlich, dass auch Fremde daran teilhaben können. Der Indian Summer zeigte sich von seiner prächtigsten Seite und wir haben natürlich auch ausprobiert, ob das Wasser warm genug zum Schwimmen ist! Es ist! Wir haben diesen Landstrich 'das Land der rauchenden Wasser' getauft, da morgens geisterhaft und geheimnisvoll Rauch aus dem See aufstieg. Besonders angenehm ist, dass das Haus und die Küche so gut ausgestattet ist. Alles vorhanden, man musste keinen Gedanken daran verschwenden, ob denn überhaupt Salz oder Zucker da ist…“ Familie Peklak/ Wien
