This is an absolutely delightful uplifting villa decorated with fun and the island in mind. (8 MB video sent upon email request) Spacious, bright, and a short five-minute (or less) walk to the Shipyard Beach Club, this villa will put a smile on your face. Bright yellow walls and a friendly crab sculpture greet you. A nautical theme is carried throughout via white, yellow, and blue curtains and paintings of boats. The kitchen is bright and beautiful with a red tiled floor, new stove and refrigerator, white cabinets and wall tiles and a large skylight. The living room offers a wood-burning fireplace and red leather sofa, chair and ottoman. The dining area with beautiful wooden table looks out over the ponds and oaks. Outside, a large private wrap-around deck also provides views of the ponds and oaks and the golf course for a very tranquil and peaceful setting. The bedroom offers a king-sized bed and private bath. There is also a second full bath. Broadband wireless keeps you in touch.

Notes: Large deck facing the lagoon and golf fairway surrounds the villa which is on the second floor. Deck has a nice round wood table with 4 chairs and also has a tree growing right through it. In Hilton Head we don't cut down trees. We, the owners, live on Hilton Head Island and we are available to help you with information or with any problems that may arise. We love living here!

Beach And Sports: Beachwalk is the closest resort to the Shipyard Beach Club, making this an ideal villa from every standpoint. Beachwalk also offers a large, sunny pool and deck area just steps from the villa. Golf and tennis are nearby--a full-service tennis center is within walking distance and behind the villa, beyond the ponds is the golf course. Shipyard has 3 nine-hole courses which can be played in various orders to make up 18 holes.

You'll have a wonderful time here, as many have experienced! Amenities: Fireplace, Phone, Air Conditioning, Cable TV and Cable Modem and Router for Wireless Internet, DVD, VCR, Full Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Cooking Utensils provided, Linens provided, Washer & Dryer, Pool (shared), No Smoking, No pets

Shipyard Plantation has three 9-hole courses you can play in different orders to make up an 18-hole outing. Other advantages of Shipyard include the Crown Plaza hotel, the Beach Club, the Dennis Van der Meer tennis center, lots of bike and walking paths, and that great, wide beach that is wonderful for biking. Rental bikes are delivered and picked up by a number of rental companies or they can be rented at the Crown Plaza Hotel.

This is a very nice, large one bedroom home, and a short walk to the beach tennis training facility and the Crowne Plaza Hotel. You will need a car or bicycle, but everything is nearby.

We had a blast, and the owners couldn't have been nicer!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway, Age 55+, Sightseeing

The unit we stayed in was large, great floor plan, very clean and overlooked a small pond. The owners were great to deal with and I will bring my family back again. The beach was within walking distance, 2 blocks, and there are bike/walking paths everywhere. The living oak trees are spectacular. There are over 350 restaurants on the island if you decide not to dine in.

We would highly recommend this unit/area to everyone.
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway, Families with Young Children, Sightseeing

our stay at the villa was wonderful. We were so overdue for a break and your cheerful villa, tucked away as it was at the very back of Shipyard Plantation, afforded a spacious quiet that was good for the soul! We loved it's proximity to the ocean and enjoyed morning walks there -- and the golf!...it met all our expectations and then some. Your villa shows itself to be a gracious accommodation, like her owners! We thank you for a memorable and much needed chance to refresh ourselves and would highly recommend this property to our friends and family here in the North.

The three of us had a wonderful time in this villa, the decor is AWESOME!! Lots of space, with a vaulted ceiling, a great kitchen with skylights. It is queit and relaxing, yet lots of fun for the family!! We enjoyed every minute while we there and look forward to going back again!!
