All-Inclusive: Amenities:Everything is provided: [except your toothbrush] lounge furniture for the deck and lawn [and that spectacular view] swing sets and fire pits and gas grills. All bed and bath linens as well as professional housekeeping before and after your arrival. Game Room includes Hot Tub for 6, pool table, foosball, television and more. While sipping an iced tea in the evening, be sure to watch for the white breasted Hawks and even Eagles! Activities:Bring your snowmobiles and boats and even dirt bikes, there are trails for all. [Skaneateles Lake public boat launch is 2 miles] Your private pond is stocked full of bass and is a fisherman's dream [especially if you are not particularly patient, they practically jump on your line.

Outdoor Living: The kids will love all the frogs and painted turtles, as well as our resident muskrat! [He dives and swims and chops away at the cattails!] The blue herons love to land and walk about the pond as well as a yearly family of wild ducks. Area:Only 4 miles down West Lake Road, turn right on [aptly named] Hencoop Road to find CountrySide at Cedar Cottage; sportsman’s paradise by day and an immaculately clean vacation rental by night.

They did not provide good customer service.

Christmas at Cedar Cottage

We had a wonderful Christmas at Cedar Cottage. The house was immaculately clean and comfortable for our group. The view is wonderful and would be great in summer. Only problem was lack of kettles, pots and pans, baking sheets.
We were cooking for Christmas and wish we had brought cooking utensils from home.
Family enjoyed hot tub and pool table. Privacy from 4th bedroom in basement was great.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway

Great home base for whatever you desire.

We stayed in June of 08 and the area was gorgeous. The house couldn't be located better if your looking for easy access to the village/town but you covet your privacy as well. An easy 5 min drive puts you in the village of Skaneateles and at lakefront. The size, creature comforts, and location of the home are actually understated on this website, so expect to be pleasantly suprised. There are plenty of things to do inside and out but please take time to just relax and soak in the spectacular view. A small bass pond on the property is just icing on the cake, so stretch your legs in the huge yard, (bring the frisbee or football for sure), and enjoy every moment.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
