Enjoy your stay at the "Painted Lady," a turn-of-the-century Victorian house in the Heart of Silverton. The exquisitely renovated, Non-Smoking house, with custom-designed kitchen and sunny dining room impeccably outfitted, large master bedroom and living/family area, rustic second bedroom, has been lovingly furnished with original art and hand-woven rugs for delight and comfort. Every effort is made to ensure that guests have everything they need in our home (including a small library, topo maps, extras) to make their stay relaxing and memorable.

Once an active mining town, Silverton now attracts visitors to its endless outdoor activities in the spectacular San Juan Mountains as well as the continual summer festivals, art shows, old-style Fourth of July, narrow gauge railroad service to Durango. Winter brings skiing at Silverton Mountain and Durango Ski Resort (also known as Purgatory), as well as all winter sports. This is a town which has not stood still but which cherishes its color and values from another era.
