The Botanica Suite features a high-ceiling living-dining area with large airy bedroom. The bedroom, with queen-sized bed, has a window looking out onto a quiet, shared courtyard and an antique armoire covering one wall.

Additional information about rental rates

To reserve we charge 20% of the expected total to a Visa or Mastercard with the remainder due at check-in time, except for special events when the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.

3-night minimum stays required for: Presidents' Day, St.Patrick's Day / St. Joseph's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. 3-night minimum stays are $149 a night.
Fees And Taxes Rates are quoted per day, and are subject to change. We suggest calling or emailing with specific dates.

We generally have a three night minimum, but longer stays are required for certain periods, holidays, and special events.
4-night minimum stays required for: French Quarter Festival (weekend after Easter), Jazz Fest (last weekend of April, and first weekend of May), Sugar Bowl (New Year's Day). 4-night minimum stays are $225.

5-night minimum stay required for: Mardi Gras. 5-night minimum stays are $225 a night.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

I was lucky enough to stay in Historic Rentals’ Botanica suite in New Orleans for two weeks over Christmas 2012. It was a perfect home away from home. The location is ideal, right in the Quarter, but a few blocks away from all the madness so it’s quiet and has a safe, residential feel.

The suite itself is so comfortable, with all the amenities to make a longer stay comfortable. I loved having a kitchen for breakfasts. George, one of the owners, greeted me on the night I arrived, and provided a wealth of information on great places for a solo traveler. Robert, who maintains the property, even dropped by every few days to check if I needed anything. When I had one small maintenance issue he came by immediately and took care of it. I loved my apartment in the French Quarter. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and can’t wait to go back.

Our stay was by far the most pleasant vacation in years! While the Quarter atmosphere is lively and infectious, what a haven the Botanica Suite was to return to! Upon arrival Robert was right there to welcome us and share the history of the place we called home during our vacation. A true treasure is the courtyard...morning coffee out there was heavenly! We were extremely pleased to have the chance to meet the owner. George, you have a wonderful gift for sharing your kindness and making our stay not only a place to lay our head, but a warm and welcoming home away from home!

We just spent 4 lovely days in New Orleans. Botanica was walking distance to many great restaurants and also Frenchman Street music. The apartment had all we needed and was very clean.

My husband and I just spent the week and totally enjoyed it. Clean, authentic to the area, safe,walking distance to every thing. Winston is great, full of suggestions! We would definately stay here again. A toaster would of been great in the kitchen though.
