About Allison Howard
We purchased this little house in 2007 and completely refurbished it from top to bottom putting our carpentry skills and design talents to good use. We had moved to Penticton in 2005 and fell in love with the beauty of the Okanagan Valley. Our goal is to provide a relaxing and comfortable home with all the conveniences to make you feel at home. The compliment we most love to hear is; 'you thought of everything!' In December 2010, we became the first legally licensed vacation rental in Penticton.

Why Allison Howard chose Penticton
We had always loved the little flat roofed houses that are common in this area so when this little house came up for sale on our street we purchased it for a rental. However after putting 6 months of work and money into it, we realized we wanted to share it with friends and family and others who would appreciate the work we had done. The house is a natural for a vacation rental as it is so close to the beach and downtown areas. For the first three years we offered our little vacation rental house just by word of mouth and since 2010 we have listed on VRBO which had been highly recommended to us.
What makes this house unique
Convenient location to access all amenities and local attractions, meticulous care, private, relaxing back yard. 4 fluffy bathrobes provided; also fresh ground coffee, tea and cooking spices always on hand.

It's no big surprise the Canucks have decided to stay home for training camp in 2011 considering all the travelling they did during the playoffs, but it's a bit of a letdown for the KB, as we had a lovely time in Penticton last September. Halford booked this cozy little cottage away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, and it was just a really nice getaway, you know?Seriously, we stayed here. Cost about half as much as a hotel room and it came with a free bottle of wine.
