Quaintly set on the grounds of Thornewood Estates on American Lake, this new two bedroom, plus office, two bath home offers the unmatched blend of privacy and luxury comfort in an exclusive historic setting. Ideal for vacations, extended corporate stays, relocations, visiting family/friends or interim housing while building, remodeling, or moving. Very private gated 18 home community just five blocks off I-5 exit 123 on the east shore of American Lake in Lakewood . 10 min. to Tacoma, 15 min. to Olympia, and 55 min. to Seattle. Newly built in December 2004 fully furnished with new appliances and furniture so it is very clean. 1,400 square foot open layout features vaulted great room with gas fireplace, and a large deck. Master Suit– king 4 poster bed, jetted tub, large shower, walk in closet, skylight, and vaulted ceilings. 2nd Bedroom – Queen Sleigh Bed, vaulted ceilings, walk in closet.

Office/3rd Bedroom has a large cherry wood desk and queen sleeper sofa. Kitchen has a large breakfast bar, and plenty of gathering space. Fully stocked with everything but the food and paper goods. Also features dishwasher, washer/dryer, DVD/VCR, TV, and custom lighting. Unobstructed sweeping views of American Lake, the Olympics, and incredible summer sunsets. Waterfront access includes 40 feet of no bank beach front. Sand then pea gravel to waters edge. Call for shorter or longer term pricing, availability, and complete agreement. All living is on second floor. Garage not included. Prices may change without notice. Amenities: Completely Furnished, Brand New Appliances, Furniture, Washer/Dryer, TV, VCR/DVD/CD, and Much More.

We had family fly from California and drive from Oregon to meet in Washington. The owner has a beautiful property, was really great to work with, and exceptionally kind. We really enjoyed out stay, and are already making plans to come back.

I recommend you bring a map of Tacoma and Seattle if you are planning to stay a while because they are both fairly close. While there we went to the Space Needle, the Seattle Underground Tour, Theo Chocolate Factory (make reservations at least a month in advance), and Pikes Place Market.

The house is close to restaurants, grocery stores (because you want to use the beautiful kitchen), and other attractions like the Tacoma Dome.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The only thing we would do different is come again in the warmer weather so we can use the beautiful lake. But, at least we had a fabulous view.

One of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at for the price. Great location and accomodations. The owner is easy to work with and a really great guy. I'd recommend this to anyone!
