This Comfortable cottage is located in the safe and cozy village of Empire, just over 3 blocks from the best Lake Michigan beach around. Empire is nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, surrounded by the Sleeping Bear National Park. It’s just a short walk to Joe's Friendly Tavern, Deerings Market and Tiffany's Ice Cream. Bring your bikes and enjoy a family bike ride through the village or to the beach. This clean home is located on 2 1/2 spacious lots, with plenty of room for backyard grilling, a bonfire, or a tent for the kids. The house features a screened front porch perfect for reading a good book.

There are 2 futons for extra sleeping. 1 Full Bath and full kitchen facilities with a microwave, cooking utensils and linens provided. A color TV with cable, VCR, and a charcoal grill. If you’re looking for glass top tables and high speed internet, you’re in the wrong place. This cottage is laid-back comfort with a great beach 3 blocks away. The public beach has boat launch. Plenty of parking. Room for snowmobiles.

Activities: Beach walking, Sunset watching, Swimming, Beach Volleyball, Biking, Hiking, Boating, Kayak rentals available in the village, and Fishing.Winter time snowmobling and both downhill and cross-country skiing close by.

Area: 20 minutes from The Homestead Resort and Crystal mountain resort. Snowmobile trails close.
