**We have nineteen apartments and homes in the St. Augustine area. Inquire for tons more info, pictures, and even video walking tours! ** Bring family and friends to this spacious beach house with great views on the second street back from the ocean. The master suite is on the ground level with a King bed, sitting area and gorgeous bath area with separate shower and Jacuzzi® garden tub. There is also a queen bedroom and adorable young persons room with daybed that subs as a playroom on the ground floor. The middle floor has 2 smaller bedrooms with two twins each and an adjoining full bath. The top floor is a 1000 sq ft of open planned living/kitchen/dining areas. There is lots of granite counter space for your gourmet chef, a sleeper couch and plenty of seating to enjoy the fireplace in winter or large screen TV year round. Dining area has seating for ten. Then retire to the deck and enjoy St Augustine's best feature--the Atlantic Ocean.

More Activities: No one should miss touring the historic district, walking down St George Street, seeing how King Phillip's soldiers lived in the Castillo de San Marcos or perhaps taking a carriage ride down cobblestone streets. The Flagler era has Henry Morrison Flagler's original three luxury hotels steeped in history as well as his Memorial Presbyterian Church, the finest example of Venetian Renaissance architecture in America. The kids will love the Alligator Farm, the oldest attraction in the state of Florida and take then on the free boat ride out to Fort Matanzas, the back door fort that ended pirate raids in 1742. You are also only 10 minutes from Marineland and about 90 minutes from Mickey Mouse and/or the Space Center. If you get really bored (hard to imagine) call us for a boat ride in the magnificent harbor adorned with sail boats and the Bridge of Lions. Your host and local historian extraordinaire Gary Hartley might even give his personal insights for those brave souls.

This is a great vacation home. Only a block from the beach. Huge deck overlooking ocean. The best thing about the house is the room it offers. Huge master down and offers lots of privacy. Great kitchen stocked with everything yuo need! I can't thank Brandon enough with helping us out with a last minute reservation and accomodating us. We are already booking our stay for later in the year! You'll love this house and pool and an easy walk to the beach!

We had such a fantastic stay at Pelican Way . . . my sister and her family and grandbaby and me and my family and grandbabies, and we had plenty of room for everyone! We loved the beautiful view of the ocean from the upper deck porch, plus the added convenience of being able to walk to the beach. And it was wonderful just staying at the house and enjoying the private fenced-in pool. The openness of the kitchen, dining area and great room allowed us all space enough to eat together and all join in to enjoy T.V. and family board games. We had such great fun! Thank you for everything!

This was a fantastic weekend stay!!! Everyone in the group said the stay was way to short!! We came from Sarasota and Tampa to attend my nephew Aaron’s graduation and celebrate his 18th birthday. The house is so beautifully decorated and has everything that you would want or need for a vacation stay. Everyone that stopped by to visit us wanted to take a tour of the house and was impressed.

To: Gary and Brandon Hartley, your family is a class act, so gracious, pleasant, and easy to work with, we will be back. Thank you again for everything!!

Our son got married last April 22nd. We had family members who drove from New York and came in early(before lunch) Friday April 21st but the check in time is not until 4 pm. We called Mr. Hartley (dad) and we asked him and he let us get in the house early so we can rest.
It was a beautiful house. It was challenging for the young bones of some of our family members but it was worth it.
ON the day that we were going to leave, the alternator of the car of my sister-in-law broke and the only place to get the part was in Ocala and of course the family could not leave because we were short one car , so we called Dad Hartley again and we were told that we can stay until the car was fixed. We were so grateful to have a beautiful and comfortable place to spend out time while we wait for the the men to fix the car.
We can not say enough about the Hartleys, they are very nice, very accommodating and we will definitely be back and would not hesitate recommending them to friends and family.

What a beautiful home! We stayed over Easter with relatives from Illinois. Over the dunes and the ocean was right there to enjoy. When the day got too hot, the pool was quite a bonus. The 3 floors was a little challenge for old bones but the view made up for it. We have never rented a home with so many extras. From toilet paper stocked in the 3 bathrooms to huge fluffy beach towels to beach chairs, we didn't have to bring anything but food. Thanks for a relaxing few days. Just an hour from Jacksonville, with high price of gas, it was perfect. We will definitely be back, with or without relatives!!
