BEAUTIFUL 2100 SQ FT. LAKEFRONT HOME ON ALL SPORTS LITTLE BEAR LAKE

Little Bear Lake Hideaway was the most perfect family holiday we have taken in the past few years. With 4 children under 5 there are not many places we can totally relax and they are entertained without major participation from us...at Little Bear Lake we all had a holiday!
The house was exactly as pictured and described. It was clean and very well appointed for our needs. Mike and Karen called the day of our arrival to ensure everything was ok and let us know they could be contacted if we had any isssues.
Our days were generally spent on the sandy beach reading while our children played in the water, on the sand or on the jetty. They loved going out in the row boat and also liked the challenge of paddling the canoe on their own. There were plenty of life jackets available too. The kids were delighted to see frogs, racoons and chipmunks day after day and they never once said they were bored or had nothing to do.
We used the facililites in Gaylord to buy food for the week at the enormous Walmart. Gaylord has everything you need and is about a 20 minute drive from the house. We went there once but outside of that we were very content hanging out at the house and lake.
The only thing that would have been fantastic was if we had a boat to take up there. It is a fantastic lake for tubing, skiiing and fishing but in saying that our kids were more than happy with what we had there!
I would reccomend this property without a moments hesitation. We will remember this vacation forever and hope to get back up there next year.
Our Little Bear Lake Hideaway vacation reminded me of the good old fashioned holidays families I used to take as a child before theme parks and condo holidays. It was back to basics.....chasing frogs, fishing with a worm on your hook and jumping off a jetty trying to make the biggest splash!
I cant wait to get back there!
