COZY CABIN RENTAL ON LAKE SUTHERLAND

The cabin is very comfy and cozy in a beautiful, relaxing setting. The wood stove and views of Lake Sutherland and the mountains beyond made for a welcome refuge after a day of exploring and fishing in the Park. The cabin is conveniently located - close to the Park, yet not too far from Port Angeles. The interior has a warm and homey feel especially after you get a fire burning. Ample wood is chopped and conveniently located right outside the door. The bed is comfortable and generally the cabin is very quiet and conducive to very restful nights. There is some road noise that you can hear from the bedroom when large truck go by, but this is really the only slight negative of this cabin. Tammy, the owner, was really nice and very easy to deal with. She provided lots of good information prior to our arrival about the cabin and the surrounding area. The pictures in the listing provide an accurate description but in person the cabin is actually roomier and more comfortable than what the pictures portrayed. The cabin was very clean and stocked with all that you could need. Overall, if you are looking for a wonderful way to escape the world with someone special for a few days, this is a great choice. We plan to go back again next year.

This cabin is nicely decorated and fully equipped, making it easy to have a relaxing time. The views of the lake are fabulous, and the firepit is perfect. The place is easy to get to, and within close driving distance of many activities. We would definitely go back!

My wife and I stayed at the Cozy Cabin for 3 nights during late August for a visit to Olympic National Park. We planned our trip pretty late so when it came to finding a good place to stay, the options were limited. We came across the Cozy Cabin and it looked nice but we figured there must be a catch as the price and the location were both great. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised how perfect it was for us. The house is right on Lake Sutherland which is beautiful with mountains rising in the background. The cabin was simple but had everything we needed. It provided a great base camp for access to both the park (right next to Crescent Lake, it's a big park so some places do require a good amount of driving to get to) and the town of Port Angeles (about a 10 minute drive) where we did most of our dining. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the cabin but enjoyed morning coffee on the dock and a nice refreshing dip in the lake after a long day hiking in the park. I would highly recommend the Cozy Cabin to anyone visiting ONP or Port Angeles for the excellent value and great setting.
