The 'Cottage' is a beautiful family oriented cabin located on the 'preferred' East shore of Lake Missaukee. A huge white sandy beach greets the shoreline where the swimming is ideal with clean, hard-packed, sandy lake bottom. The cottage is great for kids of all ages. Whether you want to build the perfect sand castle or grill the perfect burger as you watch the sun slowly sink into the horizon, 'The Cottage' is the place for you. Work up an appetite with a game of beach volleyball or a game of basketball down at the court. Just a few feet away, you can plunge into the crystal clear water of Lake Missaukee.

Relax on the beautiful large front deck, complete with propane BBQ Grill and outdoor dining table. TV, Cable, VCR, radio and family board games are all included. If skiing or fishing are your preferences, ask us about our available boat lift to park your boat. We also include an aluminum row-boat for your convenience. Ask us about winter rentals!

Activities: Swimming, hiking, boating, skiing, fishing, plus local events, festivals and attractions in nearby Lake City, Cadillac or Houghton Lake. Area: Located in the beautiful northern, lower peninsula, 50 miles South of Traverse City and 13 miles East of Cadillac. 'The Cottage' is located just a few miles south of downtown Lake City, which offers Local Shops, Restaurants, and Parks.
