Wonderful beach house. My wife and I have been staying in Destin and the surrounding areas two to three times a year for over 10 years. If you are looking for a place that is about a block off the beach then this is your place! It is a short walk to the beach access or about 0.5mi to public beach area if you have a lot of beach gear. We really like this area between Destin/San Destin. There are lots of side walk area if you like to run/jog. I can't say enough about the house itself. It is clean and up to date and the best balconies you will find. You could walk to Popano Joes or Whale tail for food/drinks. There is all the shopping a woman could want just 2mi away. Oh and not to forget Starbucks 2mi away. There is also a rental place for motor scooters about a mile away.
More about the balconies. The largest balcony is on the second floor which is the master bedroom and the third floor is all balcony. The third floor has a day bed and a table with chairs....perfect for taking a nap or having drinks while relaxing in the gulf breeze.

After re-reading the previous reviews, I have to agree that this was everything already mentioned. My family (my husband, 5.5 yo and 19 mo old) and my in-laws had a great time. We loved that the house was clean and very close to the beach.

The bedroom set up worked well for us (master up with king, two queen rooms down), as my in-laws didn't want to climb stairs to get to their room. My daughter would fall asleep in the downstairs spare and we'd transfer her to where she would sleep with us in the king, and I set up the pack n play for my son in the master closet.

If I had to have one critical thing to say, it would be that I wish the short walk to the beach had a sidewalk.

The beach was beautiful. We enjoyed it about twice a day! Don't forget to visit Baytowne Wharf as well.

Family Vacation

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Indiago Waves. Debra was really helpful throughout the entire process as this was our first time renting a vacation home. Though our stay was short, it was definitely sweet! I came with my extended family, so there was a good number of us..the best part was that this home has a total of 5 beds! One in each of the 3 rooms, plus a sofa bed and murphy bed. It was helpful to be able to have everything we needed close by. There was a grill, washers/dryers, grocery stores near by, and of course, the beach was walking distance! We ate in for all our meals which is definitely more cost effective with a larger family. The decks provided a nice spot for breakfast in the morning! Everything was neat and clean, and any concerns we had were dealt with right away.

We will would love to rent again in the future! Thanks for a great stay!

WONDERFUL HOME FULFILLED EVERY EXPECTATION

We live in Singapore and had searched online for the perfect beach house to have a mini family reunion. We were delighted to find that the house was as wonderful as it had been described in the listing. It was clean and had all the creature comforts of home. We only needed to pick up groceries and we were all set. Everyone enjoyed relaxing and visiting on the porches or in the kitchen and living room. When we returned from the beach there was a nice outdoor shower to cool off and rinse the sand off your feet. On the evenings when we weren’t out enjoying the local restaurants, we fired up the BBQ pit and enjoyed socializing on the patio. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer to keep up with the laundry. We had an awesome reunion and we will definitely vacation there again.

The BEST ever!

WOW...what a dream beach house. Our family just got back from staying at this beautiful beach home and we had the time of our lives. Everything was perfect and it had all the comforts of home. Big and spacious with beautiful furnishings. Close to the beach yet private. We had such a GREAT time staying here that we are going to come back often. The owners are FANTASTIC and truly care about their guests. Don't think twice about staying anywhere else. This is the best value and it doesn't get any better.
