We have been coming to NOTL for the last 5 summers. This will be our third summer to rent this beautiful property and we hope to continue to do so for many summers to come! This is hands down our favorite family vacation spot. We have young adult children, a daughter and son, who look forward to joining us here every year. We book the next year before we even leave On-The-Lake, it is that special to our family. We have also invited friends to visit, who fall in love with the town and home, and bring their family the next year to enjoy it. The property shows well in the pictures, but we all decided that it is even better in person! There are delicious restaurants, shopping, markets, theater, music, and other activities for all ages just a short walk from your front steps. But the home, view from the veranda, and cool breezes coming off the lake make it hard to leave your own piece of heaven. Every morning we love to have breakfast on the veranda and watch the sailboats sail out of the Niagara River into Lake Ontario. It is a sight we never tire of. This is one of the few rental properties, by the way, that actually borders the lake. The home is spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are well appointed, comfortable, roomy, and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook wonderful meals on those nights that you choose to stay in and enjoy the sunsets over the lake. Coming from the south, we enjoy leaving the heat behind and enjoying the milder summer that NOTL provides. We have traveled many places while our children were growing up, but we all love coming here every summer as a true family retreat! It really is heaven on earth to us!
