The cottage, built in 2003 of all wood construction with hardwood vesi floors, has an excellent view of Savusavu Bay and fine swimming and snorkeling areas right in front. Amenities include a Full Kitchen, TV and Stereo, High Speed Broadband Internet Connection, Telephone, Clothes Washer. Easy walking distance from Savusavu town, Beautiful Views and landscaped grounds. Pick a Papaya for breakfast. Large screened veranda with comfortable chairs, convertible sofa and informal dining area.

  • From $375/week
  • Long term (more than one month)
    $1100 per month. Deposits: a one night deposit of $70 is required for all reservations. Deposits can be made via PayPal or credit card. One half of all reservations should be paid 14 days before arrival. and the balance upon arrival.
    Cancellation policy: If you cancel less than 14 days before your arrival, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged in addition to your deposit unless we have another standby booking for the time you requested.

    Three-night minimum. $70/night (two adults. Additional adults are $5 each. Children under 13 are free.)
    Weekly $375/week
    Additional adults are $25.
    Monthly $1300/month for no more than 4 adults/children.

If you want a nice place to relax, within walking distance(about 30 min) to Savusavu, this is ideal. If you don't choose to walk, there are several daily local buses that cost about US$.35( FJ$.70) or frequent taxi's that cost about US$1.50( FJ $3.00). Less than ten minutes walk towards Savusavu is a very nice small resort (Daku Resort) with a bar and restaurant. In Savusavu itself are several very good restaurants and adequate grocery shopping including a daily, except Sunday, farmer's market. Internet service is available in Savusavu but the cottage also has a high speed broadband connection that can be used for no additional charge.

Kitchen: a complete kitchen with dishes, pans, utensils, a 4 burner gas stove with grill and oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, double sink with hot water and lots of preparation and storage areas. Living/Dining areas: Table and four chairs, computer nook, love seat and two overstuffed chairs, TV/DVD and Stereo CD/MP-3 disc player. Good reception from our one national TV station - FIJI 1. Veranda: Large enclosed area with table and chairs and two large comfortable chairs, a hammaka, in addition to the sleeping area. Open porch on one side and back of the cottage. Bath: large tiled bath with hot water shower, two separate sinks and vanities, toilet and washing machine. Towels are provided. Phone: a phone for local or emergency calls is provided. Inquire for the number. Phone cards to be used for long distance calls can be purchased in Savusavu town. Activities: Swim and snorkel right in front or at many places along the road on either side. Good fishing nearby.

Kayaks and bicycles are also available for rent at $70FJD each for 1 week or $15FJD a day. Car and driver for hire also available upon request.

Golf: The closest golf course is at the Koro Sun Resort, approximately 30 min drive away

Loved every minute of it here...

I stayed here for two weeks and would definitely stay here again. It's good for adventurous types and people who just want to unwind and relax in a lush, tropical setting with a gorgeous view of Savusavu bay and surrounding mountains. The bay is calm and perfect for kayaking and the snorkeling is superb. I enjoyed riding the bike to nearby resorts and/or Savusavu town, which was only a short ride. The paniers on the bike were so convenient for storing my groceries, souvenirs, etc. I too, loved the housekeeper!! She was so personable and friendly, and made the best pumpkin curry and dahl soup. Don't miss out folks!!! I wish I could be there now to take advantage of the special offer you have going. I'll be sure and tell my friends what a great deal it is...

We spent a wonderful 4 weeks in this little cottage. It is a perfect location, just 3 Km from town, an easy walk down the road/beach.

The house is comfortable and has everything you will need to enjoy you holiday without the hassle of hotel. You get to enjoy meals whenever, a shower whenever, its so easy to fall into "Island Time" when staying at such a nice house.

We spent most of our time on the patio enjoying the great view of the bay.

For the TV/Media fanatics there is (broadband) a good speed internet connection at the house... also remember that there is only ONE channel on TV and most of it is spent of local Rugby... great. So spend your time outside walking to town and back enjoying all the great food and the wonderful people.

Thanks for a great holiday at house with everything your DONT need!

I love this place and I intend to return to it often. The coral in the bay immediately in front of the cottage is spectacular (a virtual aquarium) and the water is always pleasant. The location is very convenient to the town (20 min very short walk). The local market provides an abundant supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. The caretakers are very responsive and the house girl keeps the place neat as a pin. I particularly enjoy using the kayaks and the available bicycles. I have been to this location several times and each time, I have noticed up-grades and replaced items. I will be blocking my week soon and intend to extend my stay as soon as my work permits.

Paradise in the Real Fiji

This cottage is in a great location to explore the town and surrounds of Savusavu. We used the bikes and kayaks often, but the snorkeling across the road was some of the best. Long afternoons spent gazing at the view from the enclosed verandah, reading books or playing cards were fantastic. The cottage is clean and neat and well stocked for an extended and comfortable, self contained vacation in paradise. We also used the maid service and found her to take great pride in her duties. Her curries and dahl soup are wonderful. The town of Savusavu is a step back in time and pace and the people are some of the friendliest you will ever encounter. The local produce at the markets is fresh and pinapples are divine all year round.
