Relax at our private cabin a quarter mile from the lake on the east side of Lake George. On a half acre, this adorable three bedroom (two queen beds, one full) cabin features a combination living-dining-kitchen area, and a large screened porch. Family meals may also be served on the large table on the porch. Porch doors open to the deck where you can enjoy morning coffee and afternoon sun. Comforts of home include microwave, coffee maker, blender, combination washer/dryer, wood-stove, outdoor gas grill, telephone with answering machine, CD player, and 2 satellite TVs with DVD and VCR. Within just a two minute drive are a private beach, a 9 hole par 3 golf course, a life-guarded park beach, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, large picnic area and marina with launching ramp. If fishing the lower end of Lake Champlain is of interest, or a cruise down the NY State canal, boat launches to these locations are just 20 minutes away. A great place for a family vacation!

Two weeks in "cabin on the hill"

We just came back from a wonderful two weeks in this cabin on the hill. It was excellently stocked, extremely homey and comefortable and immaculately clean. There was a lovely welcome basket on the table with wine and treats and helpful, friendly notes all around the place. The view is limited but the neighbors were charming. The only potential drawback was that it is up a rather steep hill (hence our nickname for it) but with strong legs or a car, trips to lovely beach front were no problem. Two mountains can be climbed with trailheads within a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk of the cabin!
