2 Bedrooms House has 1 bathroom with walk-in shower/tub. Queen and double beds with additional queen size electrically blow up bed. Sleeps 6 comfortably. The house is fully equipped with good, comfortable beds. The living room has 2 full sofas, a smaller sofa and a comfortable big chair with ottoman. Wonderful for relaxing, chatting, watching TV, movies and reading- seats 8 easily. The dining area seats 8. The kitchen is fully equipped: coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, mixer. Lots of dishes, glasses, cups, pots and pans. New appliances.
Newly Remodeled, this house has an Open Floor Plan for Living, Dining and Cooking. No one will miss out on the fun! With a high ceiling and lots of windows, the main living area has lots of natural light and opens out onto a back deck with views of the hills and ocean - perfect for sunbathing, grilling and entertaining.
Nature abounds - Deer on the hillside and singing birds everywhere. You can hear the ocean from the house and feel the ocean breeze. The house is naturally wind-protected so reading and sunbathing on the decks is great. It's a short easy walk (about 3 minutes) to the beach, cafe, general store and post office. You can walk the beach all the way to Tomales Bay and dogs are allowed on the beach.

'Hawks Hollow', home of a musician, artist and therapist, is a relaxing and peaceful place to be. The house is clean, comfortable and ideal for any occasion.
mary spire purchased this house in 2001
I love nature, the sea, ocean breezes.
My house is a short walk to the beach where I can take my 2 labs to run and play. Dogs are allowed off leash, if they are under your control. I find it very invigorating and yet soothing to stay here- very relaxing and enjoyable.
The quiet of the area is especially important to me- I am free to relax, think, create and have quality down time- no pressures from the outside world. It's an oasis!
This house is really wonderful: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, short walk to the beach. With the open living/dining room set up, we could entertain our guests while we prepared our meals. The smell and sounds of the ocean were an added bonus. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean, seagulls and other birds and watching a family of deer wander around on the property were amazing! - and added to the overall ambience of this house. I highly recommend this place for a weekend get away or a longer visit.
'Hawks Hollow' is such a wonderful place! You get to see plenty of wildlife such as turkeys, deer, wildcats, and cows. You can walk to the beach in approx. 10 min. The beach house was clean and well maintained. Love that the kitchen had what we needed for cooking. We would definitely like to stay at this beach house again. : )
The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable, a great spot to drink coffee in the morning sunshine and listen to the ocean. It was nice that the bedrooms are on a separate floor from the living room and kitchen, so people could go to bed early or sleep in late and not disturb one another. Lovely get-away for a very reasonable price!
This house is just right for a weekend away at Dillon Beach. The house is clean and bright, with lots of windows. It is a short walk to the beach itself, and a short drive into town. We shopped at the market to make ourselves a nice dinner in the well-outfitted kitchen, and drove into town for coffee and pastries at the bakery. We slept well - it is so quiet and peaceful, and the bed we slept in was very nice (there was another bedroom too that we didn't use). Easy entry and exit due to the keypad (didn't have to worry about losing keys). The beach was almost deserted except for a few locals with their dogs - it made for a number of perfect, calming walks along the ocean. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quite, peaceful time near Dillon Beach.
The best term to describe this place, is convenient. It's not flashy, but it may exceed your expectations.
The kitchen is fully stocked and functional.
The queen beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable.
The owner (Mary), was a pleasure to deal with.
It's not the Four Seasons, but it may be one of the more pleasant properties to stay at Dillon Beach.
My family and I stayed at this house for labor day weekend. We arrived with 7 guests, with every intention of my in-laws staying in the studio (which is more like a basement) when we got there it was so musky and moldy they were unable to sleep in the "studio" which made it difficult with the sleeping arrangements with 3 children, however we made it work. The sheets in the 2nd bedroom were sandy, and they had only left 6 towels for 7 people for Friday to Monday with no way of washing them. When I contacted the owner I was told there was no way the sheets could be dirty, the housekeeper had "always" done her job, that if she knew I were planning on using the "studio" she would have told me to air it out, and that I only told her 5 people were going to be there so that's why they left 6 towels. I never once got an apology, and the way I see it is regardless 6 towels for 4 days for 5 people with no way of washing isnt enough, I rented the entire house not just upstairs and the customer is always right just my opinion! I believe i should have gotten a discount some sort of refund at least an apology but I got nothing. The house itself besides the owner and the way she runs it, was actually just your typical beach house it was OK. But I wouldn't waist my money on this place there are better places to stay. I don't recommend this place.
There are many things to do in and around Dillon-the obvious one is walking on the two mile, long sandy beach( dogs allowed off leash). I especially enjoy hiking at Point Reyes National Seashore and swimming in the ocean at Dillon Beach( wet suit recommended). Another fun thing to do is to hang out in the town of Tomales ( 4 miles east of Dillon) where you will find a nice antique store, a general store, post office and many good places to eat. I especially enjoy and recommend K&A Take Away on Dillon Beach road and the Tomales Deli And Café on Highway 1. The oldest saloon in California is the William Tell Saloon: it is a friendly place where many locals go to drink and eat- it has a full bar and excellent food, including oysters- in the restaurant.
