Enter your private hideaway through the lower sun room. You will find two bedrooms, a private bath-with claw foot tub-a complete kitchen, and a living room-dining room combination.

A private laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Walk out your living room to a large private deck with a 180 degree view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.

We are on a dead end road, just five minutes from Sea-Tac airport, and 15 minutes from downtown Seattle. Close to numerous attractions, or secluded enough to just relax and enjoy the view for a few days.

Relaxing, rejuvenating and quiet retreat

We were newlyweds looking for a place to stay after our wedding for a few days before leaving for our honeymoon. This was the perfect getaway!! It was a quiet, relaxing, peaceful and fun place to hang out. The view was fantastic!! Kitchen fully equipped. Bedrooms really cute. Ron was very kind, helpful and generous. We highly recommend this happy getaway.

What a View!

Had a wonderful holiday in the Seattle area. Ron was a gracious host, with us arriving on Christmas Day, we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, quiet, and the view was spectacular! The apartment had a very well stocked kitchen with all the necessary appliances, comfortable beds and ample supply of linens . The Burien/Seahurst area had an assortment of restaurants, shops, and of course, coffee!, as well as two nearby parks for walking and enjoying the view of Puget Sound. It was an easy drive into downtown Seattle to enjoy the attractions there, as well. I would recommend this rental for future visits to Seattle.

The view, the decor, the comfort, the amenities, the price!! All perfect! This beautiful rental is perfect for a family of four, or a romantic getaway. The view makes you feel secluded and a million miles from anywhere yet the owner is there for you should you need anything at all. The beds were so comfortable and the deck was so relaxing. There is a metro stop minutes away that you can use to get into downtown Seattle with ease. This was a perfect little slice of heaven which I highly reccomend!

This was a perfect spot! We were in Seattle for business and chose to stay here. What a place! Quaint, warm, fully equipped and more! Everything listed is here. The view of the ocean and Vashon Island were spectacular, whether enjoying on the secluded deck or from the living/dining room views coming in after a long day of travel and work and being able to have the choice of when to eat, before or after the World Series was great with the kitchen there waiting. Parks close by to walk, going in to Burien for lunch is so close and the shopping is 10 mins away. We will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Gorgeous views

This West Seattle gem is perfect for relaxing after a hard day of touring Seattle's many sights. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, everything you need at hand. Artistic touches everywhere. The lovingly tended surrounding grounds provide more natural beauty for visitors to enjoy.
This hideaway once found is easily accessed; a parking place is provided. One caveat: there are narrow steps to manuever one's luggage around, which could be an issue if arriving at night.
Ron is an excellent host, friendly and hospitable but not intrusive. He was most gracious in working with our changed travel plans. Comments logged in the guest book are evidence of how welcoming this place is for visitors.
We enjoyed walking through Burien's interesting commercial area, eating delicious fish tacos at the Eliot Bay Pub, and buying vibrant flowers at the weekly outdoor market.
We congratulate Ron and Marcella for providing this special spot for guests. Thank you both for your kind hospitality. May we wish you continued success with your place on the sea.
