Recently built and amply spaced 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom home, Casa Palapa, is the place to stay in comfort while you explore the Riviera Maya. Ideal for family get-togethers, as well as a gathering of a group of friends, this newly constructed home is ideally located. Casa La Palapa is only a five minute walk to the oceanfront and to the Reef Resort. As a guest of the owner, you have use of the Playacar VIP Card, which gives you free access to the beach club (pool, lounge chairs and beach area). For a greatly discounted fee, you may purchase a full or half day pass at the resort which allows you to enjoy the all-inclusive benefits, as well as discounts in the Playacar Golf Club. If you are a golfer, you will be pleased to know that La Casa Palapa is just a 5 minute walk to the Playacar Golf Clubhouse, and finally, five minutes walk and you are at the famous Quinta Avenida, full of restaurants, bars and shops!!!

  • Prices are in US Dollars and subject to change.
    - Prices are subject to 12% federal taxes. Payment Methods include: personal/business check, cashiers check, money order, wire transfer.
    - Occupancy count includes all children who require bedding and are over the age of 1 year at time of arrival.
    Terms of Payment and Refunds
    Reservations require a 50% deposit plus security deposit within 7 days of booking for confirmation.  The balance of rental must be received within 60 days prior to the arrival date.  Failure to pay rental deposit, security deposit or balance of rental on time could result in loss of reservation.  If reservations are made less than 60 days before arrival, then 100% of rental and security deposit are required within 7 days of booking. Cancellations between 61-90 days of arrival are subject to a 50% surcharge of the rental. 
  • Cancellations between 31-60 days of arrival are subject to a 75% surcharge of the rental. Cancellations less than 30 days of arrival are subject to a 100% surcharge of the rental. A security deposit is also required and if there are no damages or items missing is normally returned within 14 days of departure.

If you prefer shopping and/or a bit of nightlife to golfing, sunbathing or touring the nearby Mayan ruins, you'll find that it is only a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Playa del Carmen and the famous Quinta Avenida pedestrian walkway where you will find wonderful restaurants, pubs and endless shopping possibilities! The house has a private swimming pool, roof terrace, and a beautiful open air palapa (thatched roof) area where you can relax and have fun with friends and family. The bedrooms and studio have air conditioning, ceiling fans are throughout the house, the kitchen is fully equipped and the sitting and dining rooms are furnished in the traditional Mexican style. Maid service is provided three times a week, while pool and garden service is provided daily. Nearby Attractions... Cancun is only 45 minutes away with the active night life and restaurants, if you like scuba diving, you have many beautiful spots very close, including the coral reef of the Cozumel.

Also, the Mayan ruins of Tulum, Coba and Chichen-Itza can be easily reached from Casa Palapa. The beaches in Playa del Carmen and surroundings are beautiful, so no worries for post-Wilma effects!!!
