Westridge Vacation Rental villa

We stayed at this Villa the entire month of March, 2008 and it felt like our "home away from home". We were centrally located with easy access to major highways. An important fact as we attended many baseball games in Lakeland during spring training. It is also an easy drive to Disney and other major Florida attractions. The area is experiencing a building boom and there are new shopping centers nearby as well as the established shops in Haines City.

The Villa was comfortable and cozy. The pool area was well maintained with pool maintenance done weekly. It was also a plus to be able to walk through the backyard to the community pool for sunning and a swim in a large pool. We loved the Westridge community! There was Wifi internet access for the Manors at Westridge which we appreciated to communicate with family and friends back home.

Ronnie and Sue are wonderful to work with. They are very accomodating and flexible. Eagle Management was also very helpful.

Some areas needing improvement are: shampoo the carpet and furniture, the master suite mattress was uncomfortable (we puchased foam padding and that helped), ceiling fans in living room and master suite would help with circulation, and the interior could use a "freshen-up" coat of paint. These were minor flaws as the price of the Villa was a bargain compared to the other Villas in the area. We paid extra to have the pool heated for the month. That was a necessity as some nights in March the temp. reached a low of 38 degrees.

We would definitely recommend this Villa to friends for a relaxing, no-frills, stay. We are planning to return next March for the 2009 baseball spring training season.
