OFF SHORT OR IN SHORE FISHING: CONGO CHARTERS (850) 229-8034. HAPPY OURS KAYAK 1/4 mile away (directly on the Bay). Beach is always empty, feel free to leave your chairs on the beach or at the end of the boardwalk. Ride horses on the beach (1/4 mile away). ST. JOE GOLF COURSE (5 miles away).
You can fish right on the beach in front of the subdivision and usually catch some whiting and occasionally a flounder (use live shrimp). During certain times of the year there is an abundance of blue crabs. The bay is great for snorkeling (scallop season opens July 1 and lasts until September 10). Full and half-day boat rentals are available at Presnell's Marina (between the Cape and Port St. Joe).
