Dream summer vacation in a wintery location!

Very accurate description, if anything, they have downplayed just how nice the house is. We were very delighted with all the house had to offer. Propery was very clean and pretty well organized. The bedrooms are nicely located, so we had plenty of living space. We definately over-packed! All we needed were clothes and food. The house could probably sleep up to 14, so our party of eight was more than comfortable. The "Bonus Room" over the garage is an understatement. Nice sectional couch, tv, and plenty of floor space for board games. Even though there isn't air conditioning, it is nice and cool with the many ceiling fans. Beautiful view, we loved all of the natural lighting. Every night it didn't rain, we all huddled around the fire-pit and roasted marshmallows and told stories. The house is just enough in the woods, but still very close to beautiful downtown Harbor Springs, and Petosky, and Charlevoix. One afternoon, we even drove over to Traverse City!
Typically, we go camping each year, but since having the first baby in our group, there was no way I was going to sterilize bottles over a campfire! The dishwasher and washing machine were awesome to include in our trip. I wouldn't have stayed anywhere without them!
We had broken a hand-canopener, and upon calling the realtor agent, they had no problems with it, and told us not to worry. We replaced it anyway, but it was reassuring that something little didn't make/break our trip.
I can't wait for our next trip, and I will definately keep this property in mind. Thank you for renting to us, and we really enjoyed your home! Very high recommendation!!!
