This nearly-new home sits on three wooded acres bordering the Little Deschutes River. It was just built in 2000, and is a top vacation rental in the heart of Oregon’s high mountain lakes region. A great variety of wildlife, including deer, otter, beaver, hawks, quail, and jumping trout can be viewed from the home. The home is situated on a three-acre wooded site and has over 500 feet of river frontage. The Little Deschutes is a crystal clear trout river, with good numbers of Browns and Rainbows. An expert fly-fisherman described it as 'Paradise' after catching and releasing a 20-inch Brown trout. This beautiful home features vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms two with Queen beds (with thick pillowtop mattresses and down comforters) plus one bedroom with a Queen bed and extra twin bunks. The game room offers a regulation size slate-bed pool table, foosball table, X-box360, dartboard, and board games. This room can provide hours of enjoyment for youngsters and adults alike.

All bedding, towels, and kitchen equipment are provided, along with cable service, an outdoor BBQ, dishwasher, telephone, washer & dryer. Nearby are world-class golf courses, the Mt. Bachelor ski area, mountain lakes, waterfalls, wilderness trails, volcanic attractions, and scenic drives. The city of Bend with many fine restaurants and major shopping malls is only 20 minutes away. Flights to the area come into the Redmond airport. Well-mannered, quiet pets are welcome. There is a large dog run. Please discuss in advance. Activities: The Quail Run Golf Course (top quality 9 holes) is just 5 minutes away. Other distances include: La Pine, 5 miles; Sunriver, 10 miles; Bend, 22 miles. For skiing enthusiasts, Mt. Bachelor is nearby and often open until July. Snowmobile trails - 5 minutes to Newberry Crater.

Famous Trout Lakes - Wickiup, Crane Prairie, Paulina, etc. The Little Deschutes has Brown and Rainbow Trout so you can fish from the 500 feet of riverbank right on the property. Raft float trips on the river are also great fun on warm days. Area: Approximate driving times: Seattle - 6.5 hours, Portland - 3.5 hours, San Francisco - 9 hours, Redmond Airport (RDM) - 45 minutes. Supermarkets are just 5 minutes away. Several clear mountain lakes, waterfalls, and wilderness trailheads are only 15-30 minutes from the home.

The house was a very good location for our actvities. The house had a lot room making it very comfortable for 4 or 5 people. Great beds and attractive decor. The pool room was very nice. The view and quiet location was exceptional. Things needing improvement: the stove and oven were very dirty and smoke poured from the oven when turned on, the outdoor grill was real bad and we did not use it, no matches and we cleaned the stove before we used it, there was debree in the hot tub. I would recomend this to others, just feel the high cleaning fee I paid was not utilized before we arrived.

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely home last winter. My family along with 2 other families had plenty of room to sit back relax, eat wonderful food, and sled down the make shift sled trail! The hot tub was enjoyable too! thanks for sharing your lovely home and helping my family create lasting memories.
