Just the drive to get here alone, is spectacular! You will be amazed at all the beauty; wildlife everywhere!! Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking.
Heaven is your home away from home. Just pack your clothes and groceries! We hope you will enjoy your days fishing off of the dock or out of the fishing boat and canoe. All you need to bring are your fishing poles and tackle.
Even the life jackets are included! The fishing in this lake is spectacular, especially in August, when the pike are really biting. When you are out sightseeing, drive into Camp 7, just seven miles away, to enjoy their beautiful picnic area and beach. Then you can go onto Thunder Lake and visit the Thunder Lake Store to enjoy an ice cream cone! This beautiful vacation home is centrally located from Munising, Manistique & Escanaba.
Manistique is approximately 35 miles away and has a lot to offer. Many fine restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. Munising is 24 miles away. There you can enjoy the Pictures Rocks boat cruise; the Glass Bottom Boat tour to view shipwrecks in the Munising Bay, many waterfalls, lots of hiking trails, shopping, and great local restaurants!
Ski:
Although we have a great snowmobile season and great cross country ski trails, Heaven is not currently available during the winter months. Please visit our personal website and view three other homes that are available during the winter months - Vista Grand Lodge on Lake Superior, Hiawatha's Hideaway in the Hiawatha National Forest and Evergreen Cottage in Christmas; Snowmobile from door to trail from all of these lovely and comfortable homes!!!
