Welcome to our beautiful 1700 sq. ft. home located 50 yards from Treasure Cay Beach, one of the world's prettiest beaches according to National Geographic Magazine and our family! Treasure beach is 3.5 miles of soft powdery sand and warm turquoise water. This home was purchased and totally updated with all the comforts and amenities in 2002. We have been coming to Treasure Cay since 1970. This home was our dream, with 3 bedrooms (2 Q beds/1 set twins), 2 baths, a full kitchen, washer dryer, water softener, A/C, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and more.
Treasure Cay is located in the Abacos, a one hour plane ride from Southern Florida. The Abacos are known for their beautiful beaches and laid back lifestyle. No high-rise buildings, no stinky busses, no traffic and no waiting for a table for dinner here, just peace and relaxation.
There are so many things to do and places to explore. If you like to fish, Treasure is the Mecca for bonefishing and there are several outfits available to take you to their favorite spots. The full service marina also has deep sea fishing, snorkeling, dive shop, shelling and diving private charters available. There are also ferries to take you to Green Turtle Cay where you can rent a golf cart to explore the island. Another island near by is Great Guana Cay. After exploring the island, don't miss their infamous Pig Roast every Sunday at Nippers Bar & Grill. If shelling and snorkeling is you pleasure, there are private guides that can bring you to the uninhabited islands near by. That is one of my daughter's favorite trips!
Close by is the Treasure Golf Course. This beautiful Dick Wilson design is 1/2 mile for the house. We have clubs for you to use at the house (rightly and lefty) In the center of town, there are tennis courts, a grocery store, liquor store, post office, bank and restaurants. Don't miss Treasure Bakery for daily hot pastry and homemade bread! The Marina has a pool and the Tipsy Bar with Pizza Night every Thursday. Across the street is the Coco Bar and restaurant where the daily lunches are delicious. Sometimes they have a night of authentic Caribbean Barbecue Buffet.
After your day of adventure, come home to watch the sunset from our roof top deck, relax in the screened lanai or catch the last rays on the back patio with your favorite beverage and snack. We have a gas grill where you and grill up your catches of the day or a nice steak. What ever you desire we have it at our home. If you are interested in any specifics, we can surely point you in the right direction as we've made a few friends in the past 30+ years. Come experience Treasure, you'll too see why this is one of the best kept secrets in the Bahamas.

We are the Keating Family. My father Paul was first introduce to Treasure by an old friend who was a fighter pilot in WWII. They would fly in a single engine plane all the way from Beverly, MA to a grass landing strip on Treasure Cay. In the 40 years since, several commercial airlines make trips daily from Southern Florida. Treasure has been our family vacation spot ever since and now our children are lucky enough to experience this beautiful island.
We love Treasure and hope to share this beautiful spot with other families.
