Alan -- born and raised in Birmingham, AL then moved to Smoke Rise, AL. Son of Neal & Gaynell Beckham. Met and married Denise. We built a home and have lived in Cullman for over 20 years.

Denise -- born and raised in Cullman, AL. Daughter of Coleman & Willodene Johnson

Why Alan Beckham chose Gulf Shores

While staying in a condominium in Orange Beach my daughter (then 10) was very uncomfortable with the busy highway next to the sidewalk. As she squeezed my hand I knew then this was no place for my family. We were lead to the Gulf Shores Plantation with 19 acres of private manicured landscape.

The seclusion of this resort has been the choice location to bless our pastors and other ministers we know. It's also a great place for spiritual retreats and time to refresh.

When we entered the condo for the first time we were in awe of the view.

Exactly what we were looking for

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at this condo! It's perfect size. Not too big not too small. The rooms were very homey feeling and decorated very nicely. It was also very clean! Which is very important to me! The kitchen was fully equipped and the living room was very spacious with a nice TV. I cooked majority of the meals in the kitchen and it was all we needed. It's more of a quiet beach get away. Which was exactly what we were looking for. But it was also just a short drive away from the loud parts of Gulf Shores with the great restaurants! It was the perfect fit for us. We will definitely be back!

We loved everything about this little condo! It was perfect for our stay at the beach as we were there just to relax and soak up the sun. It would be perfect for a couple or small family. The only downside was the drive to get to the local restaurants and stores. Otherwise it was just what we were looking for!

Great Time!

My fiance and I had a great time at your condo. The size of the condo was perfect, was clean and the balcony view was great! This place is perfect for a small family and the price was great! We loved the family atmosphere and the beaches were not as crowded as we thought they were going to be in mid-July. We only had a short time to spend here so we stayed at the beach and didn't take advantage of the pools but they looked awesome! We also loved Tacky Jack's 2 that was just down the road. We will definitely be back with our kids next time….as they can make use of the cute bunk beds in the hallway.
Owner's Response: So glad you had a great time staying in our condo. Having a beach with plenty of room is no problem when you have over 2000 feet of private beach. Guest are welcome to bring their umbrellas or even a gazebo if they wish. Remember to book in the Spring because these dates go fast.

Great Trip!!!

I took my wife and 3 young kids to Gulf Shores for the first time and this was a great experience. The condo was very affordable and a great fit for us. The kids loved the bunk beds and were still small enough to comfortably fit on either the top or bottom bunk and the couch. It was very quiet and peaceful and access to the beach was great. The beach was well taken care of and when we weren't at the beach the kids loved the pools. The condo was clean and tidy when we got there and had a nice view from the balcony. The condo is a bit dated, with the furniture showing wear and the tv's being old and small but this wasn't an issue for us. For the price it was the perfect fit for us!
