A Delightful Stay...
My husband and I just recently stayed at this condo while visiting our son, who is attending UC Berkeley, so the location was important to us. We were within walking or short bus ride distance of campus and the extra bed in the loft was great when he wanted to stay overnight. We are serious walkers, so this combined with the great central location of this condo and awesome public transit, we explored quite a bit of the area without renting a car. Aside from walking the ever-entertaining streets of Berkeley, we hiked the trails of Tilden Park, frolicked at a water park in Fremont, sipped cappuccinos at a lovely cafe in Walnut Creek, explored Golden Gate Park (which takes you to Ocean Beach) in San Francisco as well as the famous Fisherman's Wharf (where we took a boat tour of the bay) and ate awesome clam chowder from a bread bowl. We also took a day trip to Stanford and visited their famous university campus. You do need a car to go to Muir Woods but you can also combine it with a wine tour which leaves from a convenient location in San Francisco. So I'm obviously saying that the location of this condo is perfect for sightseeing, visiting campus, groceries, wine, farmer's markets, nightclubs, and restaurants of any description. The owner's photos and description of the property are entirely accurate, the place is clean, convenient and we really enjoyed having a bbq in the spacious courtyard on a beautiful sunny afternoon in Berkeley. The owner's are friendly and helpful and we would recommend their rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. So don your tie-dyed t-shirt, rent this space, pack your camera and enjoy your Berkeley experience.
