A wonderful holiday in this Tucson carriage house

My wife and I have just spent a week in this charming carriage house. I thought it would be helpful to future holiday makers to describe the property and the things you can do in the area.
Before our stay, I had considerable contact with the owner. The responses I received were prompt and considered, inspiring confidence that we were going to have a most enjoyable stay.
The property is accurately described and we found it to be very clean and comfortable. The living space downstairs is spacious and welcoming. The kitchen, whilst small, provides every facility needed for a self-catering holiday. Upstairs, the bedroom is smartly furnished with plenty of storage. The bathroom is modern with a shower and bath. The wifi proved to be a real boon – keeping in touch with family was a breeze.
Our preferred holiday making involves plenty of walking. There are many opportunities to participate in these pursuits. Within a few miles there are state parks providing scope for hiking, from short, easy trails to long, arduous ones. In the Tucson heat, we chose the easier options! Both Sabino Canyon and Madera Canyon were well worth the visit. We also enjoyed trips to the Sonora Arizona Desert Museum, Biosphere 2 near Oracle and the Tohono Chul Park in town. For those interested in the ‘Wild West’, Tombstone is a 90 minute drive and well worth the visit. One thing which you may wish to purchase is the Tucson Attractions Passport - it's a no-brainer for anyone visiting the top attractions. With a trip to the Biosphere2 costing more than the passport it pays for itself with just one excursion as you get one free admission with one paying visitor.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to future holiday makers. You will be assured of the warmest of welcomes and a carefree holiday in this interesting area.
