Montreal Vacation Rental studio

The apartment is much better than the photos. Although we didn't cook in, the kitchen is extremely well stocked. The bed is rock hard and a bit troublesome but the pillows were lush and wonderful. The room is extremely clean, light, and airy. The temp didn't seem quite right on the air conditioning but if you play with it long enough you'll find a comfortable setting. The neighborhood is quiet which is nice after a being out and about all day. There is plenty of hot water which was wonderful.

The description said internet was available but it was not. We are dependent on it for work, even while on holiday and not having it available was a huge inconvenience. In fact, I would not book with them again based solely on the internet factor. the apartment is located on the first floor which is good for people with mobility issues. However, that is not the case with the rest of Montreal. Metros are not accessible to those with disabilities.

It is a quiet neighborhood with the metro just 2 blocks away. There are a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance.

The sole reason this rental is not granted an excellent rating is because of the internet. We would not have booked had we known internet wasn't available. We were told we'd have it the following day but we didn't. The owners kept making excuses as to why we didn't have it. Even when it isn't work related, internet is helpful to get maps and tourist info that may not be in the Lonely Planet. The lack of internet created a hardship for us but if you aren't dependent on it, or not in Montreal for a conference (as we were), it might not be an issue. If it isn't an issue, I'd highly recommend staying here. If you need to be connected, stay somewhere else.

Very comfortable studio apartment, which is clean, well maintained, well stocked with kitchen and bathroom necessities, and generally better than described in the listing. There is a new, very comfortable large Queen (or even bigger) bed, which is not in the photos. The location is terrific, in the Plateau Mont Royal district and within 2 blocks of the Metro with numerous restaurants, markets and grocery stores within walking distance and all of Montreal's numerous attractions easily available via Metro. We did not use our car at all while in the city. The owner is very personable and helpful. We had absolutely no complaints and would recommend this property easily to a friend.

The location is central within the Plateau and within walking distance of many excellent restaurants(some BYO) and shopping. The metro is a short two blocks away to get anywhere in the city. The unit was spotless and ideal for two people. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it as a place to stay.
