Beautiful, Historical Home with 3 spacious Bedrooms and 3 Baths

The Hatch House is both modern and historical. Parts of the home date back over one hundred forty years for the true flavor of Taos, yet some additions are only 10 years old to modernize and compliment the original. The Hatch House is surrounded by portals (porches) and gardens. The spacious entryway lends a gracious, warm reception area. The kitchen is the heart of the home and contains a table and chairs for family dinners, yet there is a separate, more formal dining room as well. A traditional kiva fireplace warms the main living room with it's original flagstone floors. A separate den is the entertainment room with flat-screen HD TV/DVD/DVR satellite, as well as a sleeper sofa for extra guests. The Hatch House has 3 spacious Bedrooms and 3 Baths, all bedrooms with fine linens and down comforters.

Excellent location midway between Taos Town and Taos Ski Valley with easy access to both. On a short, quiet access road, off the main highway. Wide views over Taos Pueblo land to El Salto and Pueblo Peaks, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Truchas Peaks. Less than a mile away is the charming village of Arroyo Seco, with darling shops and coffeehouses.

The Hatch House and Hatch Guest House are set in lawns and gardens with trees and shrubs. During the warmer months the fountain next to the Main House Courtyard adds it's cheerful splashing to the birdsong! The Garden Hot Tub is on a bricked surface for safety. Next to the Hot Tub area is a half basketball court and basketballs are available. There is a carport attached to the main house. The complex sits on well over an acre of land.

  • The Master Suite is a private haven with king-sized bed with luxurious linens, down comforter and large HD TV/DVD (with satellite) in an armoire. The spacious adjacent master bath is so large that it has a treadmill for that morning workout! In addition to the vanity there is an oversized shower (only, no tub) and separate toilet room. A large sliding glass door opens onto the back courtyard. The two additional bedrooms, separated by a spacious bath with oversized shower and vanity with 2 sinks, are very spacious with a queen bed in each. The beds have fine linens and down comforters. There is also a twin window bed/couch (primarily as sleeping for kids) in each of these bedrooms. The third bathroom is generously sized and has a claw footed tub with shower combination.

The main house is 3500 square feet and has a carport. Also available for rental with the Main House or separately is a charming, elegant newer (1994) GUEST house (see Hatch Guest House). An outdoor Garden Hot Tub is shared by the Main House and Guest House. Near the Hot Tub is a half basketball court for a pre-dinner warm-up!

The warmth of your home enfolded us as soon as we walked in the door - just plain wonderful. Jill found the soporific nature of your white couch perfect for an afternoon nap. We're very pleased we were able to meet you, although briefly. Thank you so much for letting us share your home.

Your delightful home!

We came for my daughter&#39;s wedding in Questa which turned out beautifully in the wonderful mountain setting. Adding to the lovely experience was our stay in your delightful home. My other daughters, my son-in-law and my grandchildren &#40;8 of us in all&#41; were able to stay together in your spacious accommodations so comfortably and happily.
