Hello Ariel, we arrived yesterday from San Miguel de Allende. We had a great time at San Miguel, your house is beautiful and we loved it.
Thank you for everything, hope we get in touch soon.
My best wishes, Lizbeth
We loved our stay at Casa Ariel. From Pilar to Amada everything was wonderful. The house is very comfy. The only thing we would add would be a tv in the living room.
We went to San Miguel for a short visit and found that the house was just what we were looking for. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and the patio and terraces of the house were great for relaxing during the day. The staff was really kind and helpful with anything that came up. Looking forward to returning again some day!
We enjoyed a lot this house, very beautiful and confortable place and is also very good located. We recomend this house to everyone who want to enjoy San Miguel.
Hi Ariel, sorry I have been so long on writing. I wanted to let you know that we absolutely loved Casa Ariel and we really enjoyed our short stay there. We loved the decoration and how spacious all the rooms are, but the best was the bathroom in the main bedroom, it was breathtaking! We highly recommend Casa Ariel to anyone visiting San Miguel and will definitely stay there again.
From an old world cobblestone street, the gate opens up....Shangri-La!....ivy, red bougainvillea line a long path to a breath taking Hacienda . And to the side a guest house. It doesn't get better than this! Both houses have a rooftop deck with a spectacular view of San Miguel. Amanda is there to greet you( the best housekeeper and cook, that side of the Rio Grande. Near by are the Weber tennis Courts, a bridge Club and the fabulous Rosewood Hotel with a terrific swim and health club. So, even if you are not an "artist", (me), there is plenty to do in this wonderful, most friendly, very safe town. You will enjoy the beauty of this house and the warmth of the staff. It is a convenient location, close to the many fine restaurants, and galleries, and the jardin and Instituto Allende. This is a wonderful Casa!
We attended a wedding in San Miguel last August and needed a place to stay that could accommodate my wife and I plus my daughter, her husband and our two grand kids. My wife and I used the little guest house and left the big house for our kids/grand kids.
We discovered that the location was perfect for our needs. The kids arrived a couple days earlier than us and had the neighborhood all scoped out by the time we arrived so we had no trouble being directed to great eating places near the casa and other areas of interest in San Miguel.
San Miguel can be a little difficult walking due to the hills and cobblestone streets. However Casa Ariel is in a relatively level area and once we got used to the cobblestone streets traveling by foot was no problem. Fifteen minutes to the square and great eating places around the corner.
Casa Ariel itself is a comfortable, roomy art infused jewel of a place to stay. The roof-top verandas allow a birds eye view of the nearby church steeples and surrounding areas. There were a couple of lightening/rainstorms while we were there so we sat under the floor level outside veranda overhang with cervezas in-hand and enjoyed the church bells interrupted by thunder claps.
Though we did not utilize Amada's cooking services (our son-in-law loves to cook) she and the other property caretakers were exceedingly accommodating and totally non-intrusive.
We fully recommend Ariel's jewel of a casa and will return to the magical city of San Miguel soon.
