Next to the Ritz, close to the beautiful Hôtel Crillon, this is the district of luxury and fashion. The historical headquarter of Chanel is in rue Cambon. Shopping at more affordable prices is also possible in the many trendy boutiques of the adjacent rue Saint Honoré.
It's a perfect location from which to explore Paris. Within easy walking distance of the main museums: five minutes from the Orangerie, ten minutes from le Louvre and the Grand Palais. If you cross the Seine through the nice pedestrian bridge nearby you can also easily reach the Orsay Museum (approx. fifteen minutes from the apartment). Many beautiful examples of 17th and 18th century architecture, the 18th century place de la Concorde or the magnificent place Vendôme.
