Henderson Vacation Rental house

Our experience with this home was wonderful in every respect! Green Valley Ranch and The District are a walk away, but the home and it's courtyard are very quiet and private. Due to the height of the wall surrounding the courtyard, one can have the shades open and still have privacy and lots of natural light. The floorplan of the home is excellent in that there is a bath seperating each of the 3 bedrooms. The great room is very spacious and the leather sectional with lazy boy recliners on each end is perfect after a day of walking. The master suite is quite spacious even with a CA King bed. The furnishings throughtout the house are very nice. Each bedroom and the great room has a nice TV with satelite pickup of music and hundreds of stations (we loved it after several months of Dixon cable on Roatan). A very nice Whole Foods Market is very nearby, which supplied many of our dinners as once we returned of a day of shopping or touring we were not inclined to go back out. There is another regular market nearby as well. But again after months on Roatan, Whole Foods was a real delight.
While having coffee and emailing in the morning, I enjoyed watching the neighbors do their morning exercise tour/stop at the playground seen from the kitchen window. I had forgotten the joys of a dishwasher; full size washers and dryers and a garbage disposal and 100s of music and TV channels and GREAT shopping. Nearby shopping includes a Nordstroms Rack. There are a huge variety of restaurants nearby.
Probably the best part was the communication with the owner. She always responded promptly and provided specific information. We were provided with the codes to the community gate and that to the house right prior to our arrival and all worked perfectly. We arrived late,; found the house and gained entry without a hitch. I also had forgotten the joys of a garage.
We spent 2 weeks in Las Vegas. The main reason for our trip there was to attend the Realtors' Convention at the Sand Convention center. Because of the expense of the travel we extended our stay for a week prior to the convention which is when we stayed in this very comfortable, pleasant home. My husband had insisted on staying at a nearby hotel during the time of the conventrion, but he was as reluctent as I to pack up and move to The Mirage for our last week state side. This hotel has spacious rooms and many amenities but it was not nearly as comfortable as this home. By the time we walked from our room to the convention center we could have almost driven the distance from the house in Henderson and saved the wear and tear on our poor feet. None the less, Las Vegas is quite the distination with many, many things to do other than gamble. In fact we did not drop so much as quarter into a slot machine. We saw two Cirque shows (now we have seen 5); I dressed up wearing my Grandma's mink stole and had lovely evenings enjoying ourselves. We took in the tours of Hoover Dam, Red Rocks Canyon, Boulder City, Liberace Museum, Stratosphere, and much more and there remained things that I still wanted to do.
The parking garage next to MGM is free and for KA set back aways.
Had a great experience and highly recommend this property.
