Mendocino House Rental Photos and Description
House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
The Mendocino Bay House has the classic artists view of Mendocino. Enjoy our beautiful retreat with spectacular white water, ocean front views by day and wonderous views of the lights of Mendocino Village after dark.
Enjoy your own private Hot Tub while watching the white water views and the distant scene of Mendocino village across Mendocino Bay. Keep watch for our resident hawk(s) that hunt from the bluff twice daily and the numerous deer that can't resist our coastal garden flowers (argh!).
The house has two bedrooms with one (1) queen bed in each room. An additional "Japanese futon" (only 4 feet wide) can sleep one adult or two children.
The kitchen provides a Gourmet Wolf stove and double ovens that allow you to cook a private romantic dinner while enjoying the ever-changing white water view and dine on our custom granite dining table. Yet we are only one mile south of Mendocino so you can eat in the village at one of many enchanting restaurants.
This home is the perfect Mendocino experience. The quiet solitute of the house on Chapman point allows you to "get away from it all" or you are just minutes from Mendocino with shopping, art galleries, live theater and music festivals. This vacation home boasts numerous repeat guests and you will understand why once you visit.
Our home is managed by Mendocino Coast Reserations, which is the founding vacation rental agency in Mendocino. We use them because they are available year round and pride themselves on making your vacation the best possible.

Why The Owner chose Mendocino
Mendocino was the perfect retirement community. It is far enough away to provide the solitude for a get-a-way, but has a strong sense of community that you don't often find in small coastal towns. It is the perfect balance of "home" and "get-away" that anyone could ask.
What makes this house unique
We are adjacent to a State Park that seems to be "off the grid". If we get tired of our own ocean view, in a few minutes we can walk to the State Park rockly bluffs that are home to Mendocino's Seal community. We have secretly named it "Seal Rock".
