The home has 5 bedrooms plus a separate TV and game room and a gigantic screened-in Florida Room. - Exceptional quality furnishings and construction throughout. - Comfortably sleeps 14 - Hardwood Floors, custom blinds and Tongue n' Groove paneling. - Kitchen and bathrooms have ceramic tile and Corian counters. - All bedrooms have ceiling fans. - Living Room with fireplace has recessed lighting with dimmers for mood adjustments. - The TV room has air conditioning (Though it is unlikely that you will need it in this cool high mountain climate.) The Grounds Breathtaking . . . It's the vacation that begins with a delightful stroll around the grounds. It includes a wishing well, and a swing glider overlooking the water. The paths also lead to the dock and 160 feet(!) of shoreline.

This home is located in Hemlock Farms, a beautiful 4,500 acre recreational community located in Pike County (northeastern Pennsylvania) between PA routes 84 and 739 in the Poconos. The community has more than 700 acres of forested land and 4 lakes for fishing, swimming and boating. It has many recreational amenities including 2 outdoor Olympic sized swimming pools, 10 tennis courts, 2 baseball fields, ice skating, childrens playground and more. It is near a major antique shopping area, skiing, Bushkill Falls (the Niagara of Pennsylvania),Costas Family Fun Park. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

The huge outdoor hot tub is surrounded by complete privacy. There are three TVs plus a stereo and a DVD-VHS and a CD player. WiFi for Internet access. The game room has pool, air hockey, and a home bar. There are also board games for adults and children.

Activities & Area: - State game lands for hunting, hiking, and camping - Golf - Horseback riding - Paintball-Skirmish - Kayaking - Batting cages - Miniature golf - Go-karts and bumper boats - Arena ice-skating - Roller skating The property is adjacent to a very large children's play area with swings, slides, climbing equipment, etc. It is also adjacent to the ballfield, basketball, picnic area and a community Olympic-sized pool. Truly adjacent- No crossing roads or private property.

Our family stayed here last November for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is very neat and clean and our adult children had a great time as did our grandaughter (the playground is right next door) Not much to do in the fall but I'm sure in the summer it would have been a great place to be. I would say the only negative is the dock area by the lake - needs a little attention and it's a little tricky walking down with little ones. The owners were lovely to deal with and we would definitely stay again.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children, Age 55+
