Relax in this large 4 bedroom house with 2 full baths. Large eat in kitchen and a woodstove. Rain or shine a large covered 16x20 deck allows for outside dining, entertainment and a wonderful view!

Less is more, living room has plenty of seating without the crowdedness of too many. Guests can watch the hdtv, enjoy the view while other guests play a game of chess. The kitchen and living room are adjoined. Close to all Pocono attractions and destinations!

Located approx 20 minutes away is secluded lake in Hickory Run State Park. It has a free extensive beach for swimming, plus there are several streams for fishing enthusiasts. the house is also close to many restaurants, Pocono Whitewater Rafting, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Blu Mountain, Camel back, The Crossing outlet stores and Jim Thorpe!

We gathered here from four states and as far away as Colorado to spend a week celebrating the college graduation of our youngest daughter. The house was everything we expected. The area was a fun place to be. From the oldest (62) to the youngest (7 months) everyone enjoyed the house and the secluded location. The younger 25 - 35 year olds enjoyed biking and rafting. The older among us enjoyed golf at Split Rock Golf course which was amazing. And everyone enjoyed the roominess of the deck, the fire circle, and the large indoor eating area. It was a "family friendly" house and we really appreciated the helpfulness of the owners. There were no negative surprises and and many pleasant experiences.

The place was perfect....It was cold and snowy and the atmosphere was perfect...The fireplace inside was fantastic and heated up the entire cabin....We had plenty of wood and plenty of everything...Towels were provided as well and nothing at all to complain about....Thanks!!

House was clean and easy to settle into upon arrival. Plenty of open space for a large party to feel comfortable in. Wifi and HDTV made the experience all the more pleasant. Comfortable beds as well. The real clincher is the fire pit and awesome panoramic view. You get the feeling of being the only house on top of the mountain. Thanks for everything Nancy & Jack!

GORGEOUS, CLEAN, and PERFECT FOR GROUPS!

We stayed at the "Mountain House" for my husband's 30th birthday with a group of 8 friends. Everything about this rental was excellent - from the condition of the house (very clean, fully stocked), location (near skiing/snowboarding, hiking, restaurants, and other Poconos activities), to customer service (both Nancy and Jack were so pleasant to work with). All of our friends greatly enjoyed staying at the house. It was very large (each room has a double bed or larger) with two full bathrooms (perfect for larger parties) and lots of fun activities (pacman, board games, TV, movies, and fire pit) for the entire group to enjoy. Everyone agreed that we would rent this property again in order to experience again the relaxation and fun that this property has to offer!

The listing description was dead on. House was just as adorable in person as it was online. Place felt like home the minute you walked in the door! Very clean and well maintained. Nancy was great to deal with while inquiring about the home and Jack was great in giving exact directions to the house. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone and everyone. My friends and I were sad to leave and now planning a trip to go back in the summertime!
